The rooms were very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and eager to respond when I had a question. They have a 24/7 chat as well, which is very nice. They gave suggestions of what to do in the city and even some local favorites. The location of the hotel is in the heart of Gaslamp Quarter. Balboa Park, Old Town, Coronado Island, are all within 10 minutes drive!

We got what we paid for-downtown Gaslamp. We were in walking distance to Petco Park, Little Italy, the waterfront and restaurants. Use the earplugs they provide. The staff was friendly and accommodating. .

I absolutely loved my stay here. First of all, they made the logistics absolutely SO easy for me. I had the keycode texted & Whatsapped right to my phone, I could always easily find those texts that also had the address easily posted. I referred to those texts multiple times a day and it made it so easy. The actual hotel was SO COOL. I loved the decor, the vibe, the everything. The location was awesome with so many very cool restaurants right by it. I walked to Petco Stadium and all in all, just loved my stay here. Will definitely be back!!!

I was very pleased with how the communication between the hotel staff and myself was on point they responded quickly with my text messages and getting into the building was very easy our room was clean and didn’t have a odor the only thing we would say is that they need to have cups to rinse out your mouth after brushing your teeth and a cup for ice. But otherwise our stay was great and it only took us 8 minutes to walk to the baseball game. Thank you Keating hotel😊

We loved this hotel. It had a very New York City kinda vibe with the modern amenities. It was very clean and the staff was the most attentive I’ve ever experienced. They were very generous with an extended check out time. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely terrible experience. The rooms have the vibe of a glorified jail cell. You’d be lucky if you get a room with a working window, the handle on ours was broken. Some kind of “city view” huh? They only have front desk staff until 4pm so if you need something, you’re on your own. The rooms are unsanitary. You’ll find all kinds of hair in the bed. And you won’t even get a clean pillow, instead you’ll get a deflated one. And when you reach out to the staff through text, they won’t care and won’t acknowledge any of your concerns. Won’t even bother to ask or accommodate you with a different room. If you want to use the closet, it won’t open. Felt pretty dangerous as there was a rattling sound in there, so don’t even try to open it. I texted them with all these concerns and all they said to me was, “we notified our management and they’ll contact you tomorrow.” They told me that, but tomorrow came, and you know what they said? “We’ll contact you tomorrow.” Well, it is now tomorrow, and still nothing. We stayed 1 night when we were supposed to be there for 2. Checked out immediately the next morning. Awful hotel, awful experience. Please don’t stay here. They also told me to not leave a bad review as we were checking out.
