Nice property in downtown San Diego, when I return I’ll book there, convenient to the airport, within walking distance to many restaurants, staff was exceptional, we checked out and they stored our bags for the day until we returned later that evening

The food and drinks are decent at the restaurants, though the service isn’t the best. Very close to Amtrak and many MTS trolley and buses so it was easy to get there and around the city without a car. The hotel staff are great.

We arrived late, but check-in and parking were fairly easy. We went out to Gaslamp walking, and we walked back as well. Woke up and had breakfast; it was delish! The best was our reservation had a bike rental included and we rode the bikes to Seaport Village and ended up at the Navy Museum. It was a perfect get away for one night! Thank you! Planned a get away with my wife for our bday celebration. First time staying at this beautiful hotel and I must say, what a great experience! Everything is close by for great food and a beautiful night out. The hotel staff were absolutely fantastic and very friendly and welcoming. They have great dining on the premises as well for an excellent meal. My only gripe, and I hate to sound petty is that the pillows can be a bit fluffier. Other than that, we had an amazing time and we will be staying there again soon. Highly recommend this hotel and location! Thank you Hotel Republic!
