The room was clean, comfortable and we felt safe. It really ended up being the perfect place to stay for our weekend trip! Parking was tricky since there are limited parking spots, but we got lucky.

In town for a wedding & a Padres game. The location was convenient for ubering to/from Petco Park. I don’t recommend walking around in that neighborhood at night, we saw some drug use happening a few blocks away. Rooms were clean, perfect if all you need is to sleep & leave! Free coffee & breakfast in the morning was a nice little bonus.

Room was clean and spacious. Front desk staff were very helpful and waiting for our arrival (small hotel). Gave the vibes of an Italy hotel we stayed at. A lot of greenery on the outside with little lights giving it that extra warmth and beauty. Small lot but cheap parking at 20 per night compared to average of 45.

The staff were very helpful and the room was clean and adequate. There were a few choices for the continental breakfast, which I appreciated. The parking lot is small and if you have a big car it may be difficult to park. The biggest problem we had was the thin walls. We could hear everything through the adjoining door (the door that separated potentially adjoining rooms). Our neighbors were loud and raucous. I had to call the front desk at 1am about the noise. The staff handled the problem in a timely manner. We also had our power go out at one point but the staff were able to fix that quickly as well. Honestly, the place is perfectly fine for the price, especially compared to surrounding hotels. Maybe just bring earplugs.

The plantings around the parking lot made the property very appealing. Loved that we could sit outside our 1st floor room behind bamboo plants.The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful about places we wanted to go. Everyone on the staff we had contact with also friendly. The hotel is well located- you can walk to two team stops. One - the city college stop also has an express bus to Balboa Park.

The hotel appears to be an ex motel, with some modernisation on the outskirts of the city. We found the room very spacious, car parking available, & a generous breakfast offered. The staff were very good & friendly/helpful. Easy quick check in & good location for downtown, waterfront, Little Italy, Balboa Park, Gaslamp Quarter & Padres Baseball Stadium. We did not need the aircon, but there was a heater as part of it!
