This light and bright upper level unit offers 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeps 11 guests (8 adults maximum), and features such amenities as 2 levels, 3 exclusive outdoor areas, high ceilings, fun “loft” area, dog friendly (unfortunately no cats), & 3 parking spaces (please note fenced ground level patio is for the other unit). Please Note:\*\*AC is under Repair. Portable AC units are installed in the bedrooms until further notice. GROUND LEVEL The ground level houses 2 side x side carport parking spaces located in the rear alley that fit most mid-sized vehicles. As you walk to the front of home there is a 3rd uncovered driveway parking space adjacent to the main front door entry that leads to the second level. SECOND LEVEL As you walk up the stairs to the second level, you're greeted by a wonderful open floorplan main living area featuring vaulted ceilings & filled with lots of sunlight. This s the ideal setting for entertaining & visiting with your entire group. The fully equipped kitchen includes an oversized a center island bar with bar high seating for 3, granite countertops, gas range, & dishwasher. Off the kitchen is a dining nook with seating for 6-8 people as well as the living room with 2 sleek sofas, mounted flat screen TV, gas fireplace, and an outdoor sun deck with views out to the bay and perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee while watching the sunrise or toasting a glass of wine to the sunset. In the master bedroom there is a California king bed, mounted TV, outdoor deck, and ensuite bathroom with dual vanity sinks and tub/shower combo. Bedrooms 2 & 3 each have queen beds and also have TV's. Rounding out this floor is another full bathroom (tub/shower combo) and convenient utility room with a side x side washer and dryer. THIRD LEVEL A spiral staircase leads you to our cool loft area that houses Bedroom 4 with 3 twin sized beds, a fun place for kids!. Off this bedroom is yet another outdoor space with outdoor patio seating & panoramic views. But the home itself felt even larger than the images. A family of 10 with kids, teens and adults all had enough space to spread out. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable. The home was clean throughout with the exception of the floors.They looked clean but could have used a good mopping in order to keep our feet from turning blackish on the bottom. That issue is the fault of the cleaning crew. Adequate parking in the front and back. The street is very busy but the home is in a great location for food and entertainment. This is the best house yet! We have 6 adults and 4 children and it was perfect. There is plenty of communal space for gathering and plenty of space for everyone to retreat. The deck is lovely and the location is great! We were near the bay, ocean and plenty of restaurants. I would highly recommend and hope to return! ##### Sheena B. Location of property was awesome but overall stay was a disappointment & somewhat misleading.1\. When inquired if property was being occupied by owner or others, property mgmt assured property was all ours however it’s not. There’s technically 2 units & maybe owner is occupying downstairs 2\. Kitchen & bathroom cabinets are so old that it’s actually chipped away. Frig was old & parts were broken/missing. Overall furnishings was dated, old & feels dirty.3\. Cleanliness is mediocre which I spent most my time cleaning instead of enjoying a vacation ##### Janet H. Right down the street from the bay and the ocean and super close to places to eat, get coffee, etc. You could not ask for a better place. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. The only downsides were the a/c did not work on the 3rd floor and the repair man did not come until we were packing up to go, the BBQ was filthy and the washer was broken (we were promised a new one was coming each day but it never arrived). For the amount of money we paid, those things should have been there. We would definitely stay again if those things were taken care of. Overall, a very positive experience! ##### Eric D. Terrific area in Mission Beach and particularly close to both bay and Ocean. The house was beautiful and very well cleaned and appointed with necessities. We love the patios especially the one out front upstairs as we enjoyed the people watching down Santa Clara! We had very few problems with the property and the only thing worth mentioning is our sink was slow in draining in master bathroom (right sink). It would’ve been great if there were a ceiling fan in the master bedroom but we later realized there was a standup fan in the closet that we had access to. The washer and dryer did have some problems. When clothes are put in the washer it sits in the rinse water for a very long time and at the end of the cycle it did not spin an appropriate amount of time for the water to drain out of the clothes. Clothes were still very wet at the end of the cycle. We did enjoy and appreciate the extra beach toys especially the boogie board and chair available. This home is very close to walking up to the beach by lifeguard station 19\. Olive café nearby was a great treat as well as The Mission and we loved Guava Bar and Grill across the street from our house on Mission Boulevard. All of our meals there were fantastic. The Oceana restaurant up the street is particularly wonderful. We were able to make a reservation and enjoy a large family meal on the patio overlooking the bay. It was gorgeous! Thank you to the homeowners for such a beautiful home and for accepting our large varied aged group to rent... and also to surf style management for the communication for the rental. We greatly appreciate it and hope that maybe in the future we can come again! ##### Marie W. The property is in a great location but is need of repair and maintenance. The dishwasher and refrigerator appear to be on their last legs and barely function. There is a rather sorry assortment of kitchen tools, etc. Management staff were very responsive to the couple of issues that came up during our stay. ##### David G. Lean and refresh The property was fine and as advertised, but it needed a good cleaning. Upon our arrival we took off our shoes (which we always do in someone else’s home), and the floors were so dirty that within minutes the bottoms of our feet were black. I don’t think the floors had been mopped in months. The property is in a great location and has everything needed for a fun vacation, but really needed a good cleaning. Good walks to the beach or cove, lots of little alleyways to explore, food, coffee shops nearby. Pacific Beach was a short drive away. An extra chair in the living area would have been helpful so everyone isn't crowded on to the sofa. Upstairs bedroom and 2nd bath are much, much cozier than show in the photos. Kitchen is very poorly stocked for doing your own cooking. The parking spaces for this apartment were a real plus and made loading and unloading so easy. Close to everything, & everything we needed was there. It's tastefully decorated with all conveniences you may need.
