After only one day we found out that it was there to mask the stench and bad odors coming from the drains in the bathroom. The kitchen was poorly equipped. Location was in a quite run-down part of Maspalomas. The nearby Faro shopping center had essentially all shops closed down and concrete structures disintegrating.
