"This is a beautiful home to spend time getting away and enjoying the peace and quiet . There is a lot to enjoy is this spotlessly clean home including the decks and watching the magnificent sunsets. There are a lot of small towns to visit and they have their own special charm. The host is amazing…. a phone call away with a question or concern. My friends and I loved our experience."

"This property provided a wonderful stay for our family. We loved the amenities, especially the pool and the easy lake access—no endless flights of steps to navigate! There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and the front porch became the perfect gathering spot when it rained.The location was ideal, with everything we wanted to do just a short drive away.Our only minor criticism was that the beds could have been a bit more comfortable. Otherwise, everything was excellent.The hosts were incredibly attentive and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great experience. Thank you, Jill, for your hospitality! We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this property to others."

"The Green Duck is a delightful cottage with everything we could want for a getaway, and we highly recommend it!The house is cheerful and clean. It has A/C window units, but we mostly just opened the windows and set up some fans, and got a wonderful lake breeze to keep it comfortable.The location is perfect! Right above the water, very private compared to most waterfront properties, and yet close to shopping, some of our favorite wineries, and some really good restaurants. The hot tub is amazing and once you get it up to temperature it's pretty easy to keep it there for successive uses. Go for a quick dip with your morning coffee and fantastic views of the lake!Jonny is a gracious host, provides just about everything you might need, and is very responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at the Green Duck again!"
Newly Renovated Farmhouse Finger Lakes

"This house suited our needs well for a gathering of my siblings, their spouses, and a couple members of the next generation. The houses location is secluded with a view of the lake about 1/4 mile away. The vehicle traffic on the road and in the area is relatively light so getting out for exercise walks or strolls was easy to do. Useful information about the house to consider is that the bath and two bedrooms upstairs are up quite steep stairs - given our ages (most in our 70‘s), this could have been an issue, but we were okay with it."

"Our host, Jill once again did not disappoint with the accommodations and all the details she puts into her property to make it a luxury during our stay. We enjoy it so much we keep returning each year, and just ended vacation #3 at her home. It is a perfect place for all ages from age 2-80! The gated covered porch provides a space for the young and the old to enjoy the water and outdoors within step from the the main floor, while they watch water play, fishing and kayaking below. The "float" room as my kids call it is fully stocked with every lake game, water toy, and float, big or small! The game room in the garage is also a huge hit for tweens and teens to get away from the adults when they want some water downtime and a change of activity. The inside feels like home and accommodates everyone well. From the fully stocked kitchen, gourmet coffee bar, to the the big sectional for movie nights and cozy beds we are all vey well-rested. When staying here, we can pack very light-we just bring our groceries, swimsuit and some loungewear. Everything else is simply waiting and ready for us! We look forward to another summer week in 2027!"
