The French Cottage: Perfect Lakeside Family Retreat!

"Loved the location, upstairs bedrooms were kind of warm and only had 1 full bathroom and it was oddly placed on the first floor. But that should not deter you from renting this place as it’s truly a great place to stay. Oh and such beautiful views from the deck and easy access for paddle boarding."

"The property was clean, the view was absolutely beautiful on the lake. The neighbors were very friendly and welcoming. Close to the wine trail. We sat out back on the deck and down below lakeside with the fire pit going. Definitely would stay here again."

"I reserved this VRBO stay for my friend's bachelorette, and we all had a great time! The property is huge and perfect for a summer stay. We had a lovely time playing giant Jenga and watching movies in the "man cave" house, while we enjoyed meals in the main house (which had two kitchens and several rooms and beds), and we also loved the fire pit outdoors and easy access to the lake. The host Chris was very quick to get back to me on questions I had, and clean up didn't take too long. The view of the lake was definitely the highlight for me, and it's off of a main road, so it was easy enough to find! I will just note that if you are someone who doesn't like bugs (namely spiders), there are quite a lot of spiders outside the house / around the property. We just brushed away spider webs with a broom and then rinsed the area near the fire pit with a hose, and that was enough for us!"
