Knapp, buttonwood and thirsty owl were some of the wineries we visited, as well as the it’s a wonderful life museum,welcome center, as well as Parker’s. Unfortunately the two bathrooms are on the first floor. So second floor guests have to go downstairs if needed during the night. Being an older house the stairs are a bit creaky. So you go slowly as not to wake anyone. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how immaculate and well-maintained the property was. The house is spacious, clean, and thoughtfully appointed with everything you could need. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of supplies, making it easy to cook and enjoy meals at home. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the towels were soft and luxurious—such a nice touch! One of my favorite features was the wine swap shelf. It was such a unique and thoughtful idea! It was a fun way to try a new wine and leave a bottle for the next guests. It really made the stay feel extra special. Although I had initially thought the house was directly on the water, it is actually just across the street. However, this wasn’t an issue at all. We still enjoyed beautiful views and the peaceful atmosphere that comes with being so close to the water. It was a small mix-up on my part, but it certainly didn’t impact our stay. The host was also very attentive and reached out to make sure we arrived safely and that everything was going well, which I really appreciated. Location was perfect, views amazing, home spotless, comfortable and stocked with everything you could need. Check in smooth, as was all communication with our host. Beautiful dock, beach area with plenty of seating, kayaks and floats. We would definitely visit again and would recommend this beautiful lakefront home. Perfect for our extended family, the home was well stocked with kitchen essentials and linens.
