"We did a quick weekend family vacation. The view was amazing and we loved sitting on the deck and taking it in morning, afternoon and evening! We had a beautiful view of the sun and moon rising. It was also nice to hear the lapping of the water on the rock wall below. The deck has gates on both sides so I felt comfortable letting my 4 pawed kids to roam a little while having my coffee, although they are low if you have a big dog. We loved being able to have our fur babies with us!I wish the weather was a little warmer so we could go in the water but if you are lucky enough to be able to get in, there is a canoe, one person kayak, two paddle boards and life jackets.I love their care package of kitchen essentials, a bag, travel doggie dish (came in really handy), and poop bags.Communication was very clear and prompt. The only thing I warn is if you have a light sleeper, the floors are really creaky in the hallway and upstairs.Thank you for a wonderful stay. Just what we needed."

"The house is a very nice size for a family vacation with separated living area from the bedrooms. Ample deck space with beautiful views of the lake from the deck and house. Enjoyed using the two kayaks that came with the house as well as other rafts/floats.Quiet neighborhood surrounded by vineyards up the road perfect for walks. Close to restaurants, wineries, hiking and food store. The host is very responsive to messages."

"This was a very nice stay, cottage true as advertised, everything needed was there. The host was great in terms of communicating with us prior to arriving and making sure we had everything we needed. Stairs to dock are safe and sturdy, much time spent in lake swimming and floating around. Very shallow a far way out, so great for kids. The cottage was comfortable and beautiful, Bedrooms comfortable, Amenities great. Cottage was very clean. No complaints whatsoever. I give stay a 10/10!! We are considering this place for next year's vacation."

"For starters Pauline Weaver was a pleasure to work with. Answered every question promptly and had the house ready for us to just settle right in. At first I was a little leary choosing a "farm house" for my wife's birthday but the stay was amazing for us as a family of 7 with 2 dogs. The photos dont do the house justice. Its basically an old stately mansion with many rooms and bathrooms you can get lost in. Yet the kitchen is modern top notch including 2 large fridges, six burner stove, oven and microwave. While is does sit on a farm with country store, it was very quiet and peaceful with total privacy. It is near many wineries and breweries and we had a great hike at Watkin Glenn Gorge. We ended each night with a camp fire right behind the house. Pauline's store is very charming with great jams, honey and other treats. I would definitely recommend for large groups especially with pets."

"This A-frame is tucked onto the lake front at the very end of an access road and is perfect for a getaway. The house is well-apportioned, views are lovely, and the hot tub has the benefit of screens and lake view. We watched ducks, ospreys and loons and went pebble and glass beachcombing while at the property, then made the short drive to Geneva to enjoy shops and cafes. There are also ,many, many wineries within a 15 minute drive.Don't be put off by the train tracks at the back of the property. We had at most two very short trains during the daytime hours and it really wasn't an issue at all."

"Simple check in process and the place was extremely clean and tidy, exactly as advertised. The game room came in handy for the kids when dealing with some unfortunate rain. Location couldn't be beat with numerous breweries and wineries right down the road and Smokin Pete's BBQ."
