The #6 bus takes you right down into the historic district and back...about 15 minutes. Very clean, large rooms, very comfortable and about 50 Euros cheaper than the ones closer to the center of Salzburg. Breakfast about average for a German hotel. The place is about 100 meters from the train station and if that is what you are looking for then that is great. Trains are not loud though. This place is literally about 200 meters from the Salzburg boundary.
