A wonderful cottage right on the riverside and steps away from all amenities in Staithes village.

A wonderful cottage right on the riverside and steps away from all amenities in Staithes village.The house is well laid out being spacious yet cozy.3 shower rooms a bonus although the en-suite shower too small for 6ft men!Note: request the beds to be zipped together if required.Heating was on a timer coming on 8am for a couple of hours and again at 5pm. Had to turn the radiators down as it got very warm. Upstairs ones didn’t seem to come on though.All household items supplied (washing up liquid, hand wash, salt & pepper etc) just needed washing/ dishwasher tablets, cloth and foil. Did not use the dishwasher but washer dryer was good. Clothes maiden in upstairs closet.The views from the windows are great. Was lovely to sit and watch the river. Lounge is lovely and peaceful without a TV!Found lots of interesting walks and loved walking out behind the harbour walls at low tide.Note many shops only open at weekend off season.

Pleased with the accommodation.

Pleased with the accommodation.Comfortable and warm.Very disappointed that we weren’t notified about the road closures around the cottage. My wife is disabled so the roadworks made it so we could not leave the village until after 4pm.
