This place has walking routes past the FBI and lots of other fun stuff. On a weekend the traffic is light and I felt safe walking in the bike-path. There are restaurants within walking distance, but not in this hotel.

Comfortable one-night stay while passing through SLC. Room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Was able to crack the window open to get some fresh air ventilation into the room, that's always nice to have. but the light bulbs used were that harsh cold/blue-toned light, instead of warm lighting... that cold lighting should be illegal in hotels. Free parking is a plus. Proximity to restaurants was limited, so we had to drive out 15 minutes to eat somewhere we wanted. Breakfast was standard fare (hot items like scrambled eggs and sausage, plus usual continental items).

This was a very convenient stay and close to the airport. Our room was large, clean and had everything we needed. Everyone we encountered was very nice and helpful. Only one thing wrong...the bathroom needed attention. There had been an apparent leak and the wallpaper/paint was peeling in the corner near the mirror from ceiling going down and that caused the rack holding towels to loosen from the wall. I did call it to the attention of the front desk when we checked out and they made notes of it so hopefully it will be fixed. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
