The Capellans Beach, despite being one of the most crowded, has a very family-friendly atmosphere, and offers sunbed and parasol rental services. At the beginning of the beach, there is a pine grove with a children's playground. Perfect if the little ones get tired of the sun and you can keep an eye on them from the sand. We were a couple,so no problem ,says it can sleep 6, That would be a problem ,4 would be okay. They wouldn’t allow us to check in early so I paid for a whole extra night. Upon our arrival, our flight was delayed and we did not get to the beach until 2 o’clock. Apparently they close from 2 to 430 every day and you cannot check in. Thankfully, we speak Spanish and we spoke to the manager and they waited 10 minutes for us to give us the key then they did not tell us that the office was 10 minutes by car away from the actual property!! When we finally got to the property, it has a long steep sloped driveway, not available for the car that you have to roll your suitcases down. It is very slippery and steep. The apartment is average to below average at best clean, but not bright and painted the best part of the room was the Sea view. The bathroom was so small that my husband and I are both then and we had to leave the door open to shower. It was so tight. They literally had no toilet paper no paper towel towels, no tissues no hand soap. Nothing they gave you a half a roll of toilet paper and never mentioned there was no extra in the cabinet. It also had no wifi and you had to pick up the router and then pay per day again they close 2-4:30 and at 7pm so we had to wait a day! Salou is very touristy and not as nice as Cambrils. We do Spain twice a year for 15 years and love most of the beach towns I would not recommend Salou and def not this property!!
