The actual hotel (not the rooms) was beautiful! Looked very elegant. The rooms on the other hand were outdated and a bit rundown.
We had dirty sheets upon check in that had stains on them, the sink clogged up when using it. I do give credit to the staff as they very responsive to address the bed problem immediately but it just left us to wonder what else was not cleaned properly.

Travelling with 2 families 8 total (4 adults and 4 boys 9, 11, 14 and 16) our rooms were amazing very spacious could easily accommodate families of 5, with an easy to use guide for the washing machine/dryer, train stations and wonderful restaurants near by as well as a family mart less than 2mins

A gloriously serene retreat in the heart of a busy Kyoto neighborhood. Particularly delightful feature is the lounge, where you can sip Japanese sake and look out on the nearby pagoda. Can't recommend highly enough.
