Our house was very clean and comfortable. The children's facilities and swimming pools were fabulous.

This hotel is ultra convenient for the ferry port, overall the hotel was very clean and well located for local shops & restaurants. Rooms were comfortable and exceptionally clean, and we loved the overall decor and friendliness of the staff (unfortunately the restaurant was closed as chef was on holiday!!! which they could have pre-warned us about, but it was only a 10 minute walk into town).

Great property, highly recommend if you're after a tranquil and private stay at a place with a heated pool, nice fireplace and jacuzzi.

After a car breakdown we found ourselves unexpectedly at this hotel. We stayed three nights and the staff were exceptional. A very helpful lady helped us with our bags and she was able to provide us with help. In fact all the staff were friendly and really tried their best to make our stay as comfortable as it was. Fantastic Spa hotel with great facilities. We stayed for 3 nights and made good use of the Spa and Pool. Great location on the beach-front, a short walk from other bars and restaurants in the town. Plenty of parking.

Lovely hotel close to the beach and plentiful restaurants. Although small our room was beautifully appointed with lots of original features. A very enjoyable stay.

Perfect

Beautiful property in a wonderful scenic setting, with a path from the door down to the bay below. Good views (when the sea mist lifted) of the sea, all the way to Le Havre. Would have been a lovely quiet setting, surrounded by pastures and trees, although we couldn't use our sun balcony for a couple of hours due to a group of 20 to 30 people (guests of the proprietor?) having a very noisy outside buffet party directly underneath us

We stayed in Deauville for 7 days. L'Augeval was just perfect. It overlooks the racecourse stables so couldn't be easier for a day at the races. It is also a short walk from the beach,the casino and town centre. The hotel has a heated outdoor pool which we used every day it was so pleasant. Fourth or fifth time I have stayed here and it's recently changed names and presumably owners. Perfect for the ferry which is only half a mile away. Also a minutes walk from good restaurants and bars either in the Main Street for the area or beach restaurants. Not luxurious but more than adequate and very clean. Good secure on site parking especially in our case for vintage scooters. Not eaten in the restaurant or had breakfast due to the early ferry we always get. Not a negative for me but...

Existing reviews have said it all-the condition of the property both in side and out, the grounds, staff and owners are simply exceptional. The chateau is located in a very quiet area providing the most peaceful of settings. Only a 20 minute drive from the ferry port at Caen and near to all the historic beaches, museums, cemeteries making it a more than ideal location. Superb hotel in every way. It is on the expensive side, especially for some of the wine, but everything is of the highest of standards. Excellent golf course, played 2 rounds, greens were as good as it gets, very true and good speed. I was lucky as they had to move to temporary greens for 2 days while they treated them...I wouldn't have been pleased if I hadn't been able to play having booked the hotel for the golf! Very clean functional hotel, great breakfast and good spa/pool facilities. Friendly staff. Accommodation is ideally suited for a family of four.
