We were aware beforehand that this was the case. We have stayed at this lovey Gite before and it was fabulous then. Situated in the heart of the town it has beautiful views over the bay and is a lovely cosy fisherman’s cottage. Great facilities and beautifully clean. But it was not the beach, it was the river turning into the sea. It is not possible to sit there, because it is al clay and you just sink into it. This bijou fisherman’s house is situated in the heart of the town and close to the restaurant’s and shops, despite this, it’s amazingly quiet and peaceful. The property consists of a spacious living area downstairs with an open plan kitchen at it’s far end and a small shower room off of the kitchen. Upstairs the bedroom contains a double bed and a single bed together with a cupboard and chest containing bedding. Stayed 3 nights in Feb 2025 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Fabrice P. 18 Feb 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Week-end détente Week-end très agréable en plein cœur de St-Valery/Somme, la location et idéalement située à proximité de tous commerces, nous avons été accueillis très aimablement par Sylvie qui nous a fait visiter la location et remis les clés lors à notre arrivée, logement cosy et très agréable, conforme à la description. Nous avons pu profiter de la baie de Somme qui offre de magnifiques balades pour les amoureux de la nature et des beaux paysages ainsi que des restaurants et toutes les spécialités locales, Un peu court en un week-end pour tout découvrir, nous reviendrons sans hésitation!!. ##### Fabrice P.
