"The location couldn't have been better! Everything was as advertised - especially the view! Geraldine met us at the apartment and showed us how everything worked. She even had English language literature for nearby sights and local food and beverages for us to try. It was the perfect location for visiting the WW2 beaches, the Bayeux Tapestry and Mont St Michel. The market on Sunday and the daily fish market were amazing. Superb base camp for visiting the D-Day beaches, monuments, and within driving distance of Mont St Michel. Relaxing trip!"

"The apartment was spotless and very comfortable Geraldine was there to greet us and was always very responsive when we messaged her with a query. The view was spectacular. Restaurants, boulangerie and supermarket a very short walk. The only drawback were the very narrow stairs to get to our top apartment. Overall , we enjoyed our three days in a very beautiful fishing village in a beautiful part of France. Thank you Geraldine"

"We loved our stay here as we explored the rich history of Normandy and WWII. The apartment is lovely, well appointed and central to everything in Bayeux. Our teens unfortunately and unintentionally damaged a small bit of the beautiful hardwood floors. The owners were lovely to work through the process of us covering the repairs-even with language barrier. We highly recommend and would stay again if we return to this beautiful part of the world."

"This is a well-furnished and modern apartment in Caen and we loved staying there. Michel was wonderful and easy to deal with both before and during our trip. The apartment was very clean and had all the amenities we wanted. It is very cozy. We ate out all the time but the kitchen seemed well appointed if you wanted to eat in. The shower was excellent with great water pressure and a good amount of hot water. The washing machine takes a bit of a while because it is small so plan ahead for that; it...

"Extremely pleased with location. Only had to wait 5-10mins for handover of keys. Very surprised no bedding, towels or tea towel. Had to spend time of holiday purchasing them after 8 hrs of driving. Although sleeps six would only stay max 3-4. The location was the highlight of the venue although nice and clean."

"The sea view is a big plus for this property, always changing, never boring, and very close. The property has a spacious living room, 1 spacious and 2 smaller bedrooms. The kitchen is complete but small. The location is very quiet, on the outskirts of Grandcamps-Maisy. Good location for Utah, Omaha and Gold beaches. The host was attentive and the instructions were clear."

"Despite getting directions from the provider, we could not find the apartment at night for 30 minutes. Signage is extremely poor. If our adult children hadn’t been with us, we would’ve been in big trouble! We are senior citizens and it was hard to walk around in the cold and dark. Also, I believe this apartment is a fire trap. If there is a fire on the first floor the only way out is through a skylight."
