It dominates the hillsides of the Garonne, bringing a lot of sweetness to the landscape. It keeps all its freshness in summer and is well heated in winter. We went on several nice circular walks in the neighbourhood as well as exploring the many beautiful historic towns and villages in the area. There are very good restaurants nearby and you can find a market selling local produce somewhere nearby almost every day. The house was immaculate and Madame Pillat and her charming daughter were most kind and helpful with their suggestions for places to see and things to do. ##### Lesley H. Surrounded by farmland and woods, you wake up to the birds singing and may see a deer or two in the fields. Beautiful quiet setting with views across the rolling countryside. Lovely cottage with home comforts and simple decoration---good outside private space. Malgré la chaleur extérieure nous étions au frais à l'intérieur car c'est une belle construction robuste en pierre. L'ameublement est fait avec goût et est tout à fait confortable avec une literie de qualité. L'accueil par la propriétaire est très sympathique. Quoi de mieux. - Une région très agréable. De nombreuses bastides chargées d’histoire, à l’architecture si caractéristique. Un canal du midi et de nombreuses routes de campagne pour découvrir en toute tranquillité à vélo les multiples paysages. Fin gourmets, vous aurez l’embarras du choix entre les différents restaurants présents dans chaque village - Une grande richesse culturelle : Un endroit tranquille et pourtant proche de grandes villes par l’autoroute comme Montauban, Toulouse pour découvrir les nombreux musées et collections. Egalement des grands musées originaux dans des petites villes, des sites exceptionnels comme le cloître de Moissac. - Un séjour qui peut être sportif si vous pratiquez la natation, le vélo, le tennis de table, la marche à pied. - Une découverte de la vie locale, par les nombreux marchés, les productions maraîchers et viticoles à qui il ne faut pas hésiter à rendre visite.
