The CHALET-2-SPHERES pursues the claim of a decidedly exclusive holiday home in an unusually beautiful location. The name 'Chalet-2-Spheres' is derived from an upper floor dating from 1688, renovated in 2013, and a decidedly modern lower floor. These two very different spheres are strongly accentuated in the interior design. The upper floor also houses an unusual exhibition of 30 animal taxidermy specimens, some of which are of museum quality. The view from the chalet is of the four-thousand-metre Dent d'Hérens (4,171 m) to the south and of a mountain range around 2,500 to 3,700 m to the west. The chalet is classified with 4 STARS by the Swiss Tourism Federation. ARCHITECTURE: The chalet was newly built in 2013 by one of the most famous architects in Valais, Anako Architecture. The special architecture received a 4-page article in a trade magazine at the time, this is available on request. HOUSE: With 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms ideal for 4 persons. Possible up to 6 persons by extra mattresses. Upstairs large living area with 37 sqm, up to 3.20 m high and panoramic windows to the southwest. See floor plans and photos. LOCATION: The chalet captivates with its quite unusual unobstructed view to the southwest and west. The optimal south-west position grants sun from morning to evening, even in winter. Particularly impressive is the very unobstructed view and the location of the chalet 800 metres above the depth of the valley. The two large terraces attached to the house make you feel like you are in the middle of nature and the mountains. PHOTOS: They are all real, so nothing has been 'added'. But they are also 'edited' in the usual way. The scenes outside show special situations of different seasons. FEEDBACKS: Feedbacks from first 19 guests since beginning of the rental in summer 2021 are shown on this plattform. Since 2015 we run the holiday home CHALET AVANTGARDE in Törbel, near Visp/Zermatt, see ad 2184348, there are 150 feedbacks listed. This is the highest number of feedbacks recorded in the whole of Valais, with approx. 4,000 holiday properties on offer. Undoubtedly, the approach of CHALET-2-SPHERES is to provide guests with a comparably convincing holiday experience. FRENCH LANGUAGE: The chalet is located in the French-speaking area of Valais, but you can get by just fine with English. So the correct name is 'CHALET-2-SPHÈRES'. WINTER: There is no ski area in the immediate vicinity, but 3 medium and one very large one at 25 to 40 minutes drive: Quatre Vallées as the largest ski area in Switzerland at 25 min, Evolène 25 min, Nax 30 min, and Arolla 40 min. The ski season in Evolène and Nax goes until mid-March, in Arolla and in Quatre Vallées until early/mid-April. SPRING / SUMMER: End of March to the beginning of May on clear days it is very beautiful, but no greenery grows yet = a quiet time. From the beginning of May, spring awakens with power. Beautiful hiking trails, both flat and steeper, are in the immediate vicinity of the chalet. A special feature, however, are the three alpine settlements above the chalet, which are connected to each other by a mountain path - these Alps are truly 'picture-perfect'! (The photos only reflect it to a very limited extent.) A guest encountered there in the summer of 2020 said only 3 sentences, quote: "C'est incroyable. C'est incroyable. C'est incroyable!" The valley 'Val d'Hérens' is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful in Switzerland in terms of scenery, probably the most beautiful valley in the Valais together with the Lötschental. The holiday region of Evolène was awarded the title of best destination in western Switzerland in 2012. The alps above are managed from 20 June to mid-September, Alp Lovegno from the beginning of May to the end of October. AUTUMN: From the beginning/middle of October, the larches turn gold - a colour show that is hardly believable in its intensity! The peak of the concentrated luminosity is from about 20 October to 10 November. Until 20./25. november the larches are still colourfull. Also in Nov. + Dec. often beautiful and clear days with then best view of the now snow-covered mountains all around, and very quiet. In the chalet good LIBRARY and selection of Bluray films and CDs for bad weather (rare in Valais) and the evenings. DAY OF ARRIVAL: Usually on Saturdays. If something is available at short notice, also on other days. But a booking request here via the system will only accept a Saturday arrival, in other cases please enquire via 'Ask the landlord'. LAST-MINUTE-DISCOUNT: If the chalet is not booked 14 days before the usual start of the rental period (=Saturday), there is a 30% discount, for 7 days in advance there is a 40% discount. This last-minute discount is already included in the prices shown. If necessary, you can make an individual price request via the system. SHORT TERM RENT, not shown by the system: If the chalet is not booked 6 days before the usual rental start date, a short term rental of at least 3 days is possible. The price is then the number of days multiplied by 1/7 of the usual weekly rent. However, a combination of LastMinute and short-term rental is not possible. COMPLETE PRICE with FINAL CLEANING: the price quoted is always a complete price including e.g. heating, electricity, towels, bed linen and also the final cleaning. The final cleaning is included in the indicated price with 130 €, it is independent of the rental period. The costs of the final cleaning are somewhat lower than the costs incurred by the tenants themselves and are therefore not discountable. The visitor's tax is also included. Four-wheel drive/4x4 not necessary, on 98% of winter days snow chains are not required. The Heren Valley is relatively quiet and unspoilt; the different glaciers at the head of the valley are incredible! We never got tired of the views from the lounge at the top of the chalet (also equipped with an excellent sound and vision system). The chalet was spacious and comfortable. We stayed in a week with varying weather, from bad to very good. then the qualities of a good holiday accommodation come to the fore. The building is built in such a way that you have a beautiful view at everything, a range of wines for sale at the owner, an extensive library of CDs, DVDs and books. This library is located on the top floor with a rather traditional decoration, under the supervision of nicely mounted animals (taxidermist), with a very good music and TV installation. Also take the time to look through the beautiful photo books of the owner Herr Hatzfeldt. Also on the ground floor, modernly furnished, you can enjoy the majestic pictures of the mountains. We enjoyed a fantastic stay in Chalet-2-Sphères in every way. The chalet is in a wonderful location. The view is second to none. The remote location offers a lot of peace. The chalet is spotlessly clean and equipped with every luxury and convenience. Very special is the combination of classic (upper house) and modern (lower house). How special is it to stay in a mountain chalet that also has a great and special home cinema and a beautiful collection of stuffed animals (no hunting trophies)? The collection of books, CDs and Blu-rays is overwhelming. The beautiful and illuminated mega photos of the Matterhorn and Dent 'd Herens are fantastic. We enjoyed the hiking opportunities in the beautiful surroundings. The castles and museums of Sion are also worth a visit. It is wonderful to relax on the terraces with the breathtaking views. Communication with the owner was fantastic and very customer-friendly. He will provide you with detailed information about the chalet and the surrounding area in advance. He doesn't even forget hiking trails. We walked four recommended routes and they were all worth it. Some were heavy and some experience was required. Especially since there were still snow conditions at times (April). In short, we had a fantastic and memorable stay and certainly do not rule out that we would like to come back. A 100% recommended chalet for lovers of the mountain world, nature, tranquility and a special and comfortable house with an unparalleled view. ##### André B. Volledig gericht op de vallei met een prachtig zicht op de omgevende bergmassieven vanuit elke ruimte en vanop het ruime en zonnige terras, hebben we kunnen genieten van een prachtig verblijf. De woning is ruim, licht, mooi sober ingericht en voorzien van alle modern comfort en uitrusting. Daarmee contrasterend is de oude schuur ondergedompeld in een meer nostalgische sfeer en omgetoverd tot een salon-video-zaal (jammer genoeg zonder Wifi).Vanuit de woning kan je, al dan niet met sneeuwraketten, onmiddellijk beginnen wandelen in alle richtingen. Beneden naar Saint-Martin voor inkopen of een terrasje, boven naar de gehuchtjes in de zomerweiden of verder door naar de cols.We hebben met volle teugen onze batterijen weer kunnen opladen en zien ernaar uit om hier terug te komen. ##### Steven S. Un peu éloigné de tout (voiture très utile) l'endroit spacieux et très intéressant vous donnera le goût de la vie en montagne traditionnel avec des touche de modernité et d'art. ##### Blaz H. Unser Aufenthalt wurde zudem gekrönt von tollem Winterwetter mit viel Schnee, blauem Himmel und strahlendem Sonnenschein. Zu berücksichtigen ist, das der Weg von der Straße zum Haus recht steil und unbefestigt ist. Für Mieter, die nicht ausreichend trittsicher sind, kann das ein Risiko sein. ##### Harald W. Die Aussicht ist nicht mit Worten angemessen zu beschreiben. Sie ist 24 Stunden am Tag begeisterungsfähig. Bei entsprechendem Wetter kann man sich auf dem Grundstück bei Bedarf den ganzen Tag sonnen oder seine Mahlzeiten zu sich nehmen. Innen vermittelt die klare und stabile Gebäudestruktur und Einrichtung ein Gefühl von Geborgenheit, Ruhe und durchdachtem Komfort. Das Obergeschoss ist eine eigene Welt, welche jedem geistige Anregung in Hülle und Fülle bietet. Dazu kommt die anheimelnde Atmosphäre eines Raumes, der ganz aus Holz hergestellt ist. Leider waren wir abends zu müde um uns noch von der Akustik des Raumes verzaubern zu lassen. Im Haus befinden sich Wanderkarten sowie Prospekte und Bücher über alles was man kulturell in der Umgebung machen kann. Dazu erhält man vor Reiseantritt einen Fächer von persönlichen Vorschlägen des Vermieters, was man Vorort machen kann. Kurz aber umfassend und durchdacht geschrieben, lassen sich die Vorschläge leicht umsetzen. Nocheinmal hierfür einen ganz besonderen Dank an den Vermieter. ##### Susanne H. Herrliche Panoramafenster mit grandioser Aussicht. Tolle Musikanlage und grosser Fernseher mit unzähligen DVDs und CDs. Sehr ruhige Lage. Einmalige Tierpräparatesammlung. Gute Matratzen. Das Chalet befindet sich an einer traumhaften Lage mit einem noch schöneren Ausblick. Egal ob morgens beim aufstehen durch die großen Panoramafenster oder beim Frühstück/Abendessen von der Terrasse. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber funktionierte tadellos, und er war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit in allen Angelegenheiten. Die Fußbodenheizung funktionierte zwar leider nicht, jedoch war es in der Zwischenzeit Miso jetzt nicht so kalt, dass das ein großes Manko darstellen würde. Der Gastgeber hat aber für diesen Bedarf elektrische Radiator im Chalet zur Verfügung.. Im Wohnbereich(oben in der Blockhütte) fehlte es an WLAN Empfang, deshalb haben wir uns oben nicht ganz so oft aufgehalten, wie wir es eigentlich sonst hätten. In jedem Fall ist sowohl der Gastgeber als auch das Chalet wärmstens zu empfehlen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war auch TOP ! 👍 ##### Drasko S. Le tout dans un hameau de charme, avec des vues spectaculaires. Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse à nous balader avec notre chien. Le chalet est confortable, parfaitement équipé. Le voisinage et le personnel rencontrés sont de plus très aimables. A recommencer dès que possible;). ##### a. g. Es war wirklich unglaublich schön. Sehr schönes Haus in traumhafter Lage und super Ausstattung. Es fehlt an nichts. Von Sonnenschein, Regen, Nebel und wildem Wolkenschauspiel bis hin zur nächtlichen Betrachtung der Milchstraße wurde alles von der Natur geboten. Das Haus bildet eine grandiose Bühne dazu und ist mit allem, was man zur Selbstversorgung benötigt, ausgestattet. Wanderungen direkt vor der Haustür beginnend oder hinauf auf die oben liegenden Almen ist alles möglich. Die Kommunikation mit Sebastian Hatzfeldt war unkompliziert und immer prompt. Das Haus selber ist architektonisch sehr interessant mit eindrucksvollen Gegensätzen zwischen dem konsequent modernen Untergeschoss und dem aufgesetzten Originalgebäude.
