"Nice [lace to stay"

"When I originally booked this hotel, I realized within minutes that I had accidentally booked for the date my flight left the U.S. rather than the date I would actually arrive in Paris. Even though I caught the mistake immediately, the hotel refused to let me change the reservation dates. I explained that I would be arriving the following day, and they assured me that this would not be an issue. Because I had booked the stay months in advance, I followed up again with the hotel several days before my trip — both by email and by phone — to confirm that my room would be held and that I would not be marked as a no-show. I completed every pre-check-in document they sent and gave every possible indication that I would, in fact, be arriving. Despite all of this, the hotel gave my room away. When I arrived, I was told my reserved room was no longer available, yet I was still charged for the extra night — even though they clearly profited from reselling the room to someone else. They attempted to offer me a replacement room without the view I had specifically paid extra for, along with a complimentary breakfast as compensation. Neither came close to addressing the cost difference, inconvenience, or frustration caused by the situation. I would never recommend staying here."

"Rayz’s location is ideal for a stay in Paris! The room was clean and tended to daily including fresh towels. The breakfast was very good as long as you understand what to expect- it is a continental breakfast with breads, spreads, ham, cheeses and drinks. Delivery to the room was friendly and prompt. The food was very fresh. The only downsides for us were that the room is very dark. There was no good lighting to apply makeup anywhere. There is a “makeup” mirror in the bathroom that has a motion sensor light which was not reliable, but the mirror was a magnifying mirror anyway. There was a mirror on the closet door, too, but again no lighting near the closet. We just wished there was a light over the bathroom sink was all. Also, the temperature control in our room didn’t seem to work. That was not too big of a deal since it was May and not too hot or too cold outside either. We managed. The 6th floor terrace has an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower and some seating to enjoy a drink. There is no restaurant on the 6th floor though - I am not sure why I thought there was but if you see any information about there being a restaurant at this hotel, that is not accurate. Overall, I would recommend staying here. We had a lovely time and felt very safe in this neighborhood. "

"Très bien situé, chambre petite mais correct et confortable. Le buffet déjeuner est excellent. Nous avons souper à 2 reprises, la nourriture est excellente. Une note spéciale pour Jean-Marc notre serveur, son service A+++ Il en fait en sorte que nous sommes retournés souper pour le revoir."

"Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable à l'hôtel. Le personnel est très aimable et serviable. La chambre était propre et bien aménagée. Est-ce que nous reviendrons ? Oui. Le seul petit inconvénient réside dans la distance qui nous sépare des sites touristiques classiques, malgré les très bonnes liaisons."
