The OVO Network team’s opinion - Petit Mazot La Chandelle is a beautifully-renovated farm building in Bionnassay, a small hamlet above the busy resort of Saint-Gervais (8km), but you'll feel as if you're in the middle of nowhere and yet, you’ll be just 15 minutes from the slopes!

This tiny home sleeps just two guests, making it perfect for a couple seeking a romantic mountain getaway. There's a large double bed in an alcove, and a shower room with a WC. The chalet also has a well-equipped kitchen and a small dining table.

Outside, there's a table with bench seating where you can enjoy a drink or a meal in front of the stunning mountain views.

The mazot enjoys a peaceful and secluded location, just 200 meters from the main road, and is accessible via a paved road. During the winter season, this road is cleared of snow daily, but please note that snow tires and chains are mandatory to access the property. A 4x4 vehicle is strongly recommended in case of heavy snowfall.

Groups can book the Petit Mazot La Chandelle with Chalet La Chandelle (12) and/or the Grand Mazot La Chandelle (4 guests), giving a total capacity of up to 18 guests.

The mazot enjoys a peaceful and secluded location, just 200 meters from the main road, and is accessible via a paved road. During the winter season, this road is cleared of snow daily, but please note that snow tires and chains are mandatory to access the property. A 4x4 vehicle is strongly recommended in case of heavy snowfall. Parties are not permitted in order to respect the tranquillity of the village.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We require a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

If you cancel your booking and are due a refund, we will deduct any third party payment processing or foreign exchange fees related to the booking that we have been charged from the amount refunded.

I highly recommend this place

I highly recommend this place for nature, mountain, and hiking lovers. The property is located in a quiet and quiet village reachable by car via a two-way street with a return 15 min from saint gervais le bain. It has a nice outdoor space with chairs and a coffee table to eat out and possibly even have a barbecue. The apartment is very welcoming and essential, not for more than two people, with everything you need to spend even more days of vacation. Parking is convenient, free and very close.

Die kleine Unterkunft verfügt über viel Charme. Sie ist zwar klein, für zwei Personen jedoch völlig ausreichend. Die Räume und Einrichtung waren sauber. Ruhig gelegen und direkt in der Natur - für sportliche Aktivitäten fernab vom Trubel ideal gelegen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war angenehm, den persönlichen Empfang haben wir geschätzt.
