Élodie & Jérôme (farmer operating the small family farm next to the gîte, away / cattle breeding & cereals in "sustainable agriculture") open the doors to an authentic "fifties" residence typical of the post-war period, fully restored & revisited as a pleasant holiday resort, nestled in a quiet area on the edge of the meadows, in the heart of the Bresse countryside, in the heart of a peaceful "dispersed" rural hamlet, both agricultural & residential. Soothing rural setting & preserved natural surroundings, nestled in the hollow of a vast green clearing of fields of crops & meadows dotted with numerous bucolic ponds & rivers, surrounded by deep preserved forests (accessible a stone's throw away), not far from the banks of the Doubs (true paradise for kayakers & ultra-renowned fishing site for its famous catfish, pikeperch or carp) remarkable ecosystem partly protected in "Natura 2000 Zone" for its exceptional ornithological reserve rich in 160 species and its very rare plant varieties. Possibility of observing the wild fauna on site (roe deer, deer, foxes, hares, owls, birds and birds of prey...). Spacious cottage with good comfort. Warm country character with contemporary accents enhanced by a rare & very elegant floor in period cement tiles on the living room side. Zen & soft atmosphere.
