The ground floor serves as the social heart of the house, featuring a cozy living room with a stove, seating area, and two double sofa beds. The open kitchen is fully equipped for large-scale catering with a hob, oven, dishwasher, and combination microwave. Practical amenities are well-integrated throughout the home, including a ground-floor bathroom with a washing machine, ensuring a comfortable and self-sufficient stay for up to thirteen guests. The upper levels are thoughtfully arranged to provide flexible sleeping quarters and privacy. The first floor houses two bedrooms—one with a double bed and private washbasin, and another featuring both a single and a double bed—along with a separate toilet. The second floor offers a large third bedroom with two double beds and a full bathroom equipped with both a bathtub and a shower. Auch die Badewanne leckte, sodass wir gleich am ersten Abend mit dem Wischen beginnen mussten. Obwohl für 8 Pence angegeben, gibt es nur 1 Sitzplatz für 3 Personen und einen Esstisch für 6 Pence. Es gibt genügend Stühle. Das Grundstück wird mit der Besitzerin und ihren 4 Katzen geteilt. Es wird nirgendwo erwähnt, aber meine Hunde beobachten und jagen, also war es sicherlich nicht einfach. Sowohl Haus als auch Garten sind in Abteile unterteilt, die im Garten leider nicht wirklich hundesicher sind (80 cm hohe und breite Wände, über die sie problemlos hinwegsprinten können). Es ist gut zur Außenseite des Geländes hin abgeschlossen. Der Besitzer steht bei jeder Gelegenheit vor Ihrer Tür oder schreit hinter dem viel zu niedrigen Tor hervor. Sie scheint auch nicht zu verstehen, dass gemietet bedeutet, dass es für sie nicht mehr zugänglich ist. Sie ließ zum Beispiel den Klempner zum Baden herein, wenn wir nicht zu Hause waren, und sie unterhielt sich mit Besuchern in „unserem“ Garten, wenn wir von einem Ausflug zurückkamen. Wenn Sie versuchen, sie zu ignorieren, bleibt sie an der Tür stehen, bis Sie nach draußen müssen. Außerdem läuft außerhalb des Grundstücks ein großer schwarzer Hund herum, der andere Hunde angreift. Das ist nicht wirklich entspannend, vor allem weil er auch gerne auf das Eingangstor (offen mit Säulen) schaut. Ich hatte vier Teenager dabei, also hatte ich damit keine Probleme, aber das Haus ist voller Tische mit Vasen, Töpfen usw. Sehr authentisch, aber als Eltern im Kleinkind-/Vorschulalter nicht einfach. Auch der (schwüle) Kamin ist nicht abgeschirmt. WLAN ist sehr schwach und wird bei Gewitter ohne Rücksprache (nur Benachrichtigung) abgeschaltet. Der Fernseher ist nur in französischer Sprache über Kabel verfügbar und hat die Größe eines kleinen Computerbildschirms. Leider kann der Dreisitzer aus Platzgründen nicht in Richtung Fernseher platziert werden. Habe meinerseits nicht gut genug gelesen, da es in der Anzeige tatsächlich steht, aber trotzdem klar steht, dass 6 der 8 Personen, die in diesem Haus schlafen können, ein Bett haben werden ##### Inge M. Das Wohnzimmer etwas kleiner als erwartet, Küche sehr praktisch mit allem was man braucht. Schöne, liebevoll gestaltete Zimmer. Heizung funktioniert bei Bedarf sehr gut. Der Garten ist ein Traum, riesig groß mit vielen schönen Eindrücken. Der Pool nicht zu klein, lauschig aber auch sonnig. Monique war immer als Ansprechpartner verfügbar, aber nur bei Bedarf.
