For most travellers, the best time to visit Saint-Aubin is during the late spring (May-June) or early autumn (September-October) when the weather is pleasant and the vineyards are at their most picturesque.

During May and June, you'll find the countryside green and lush, with grapevines budding and flowering. The temperatures are comfortably mild, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C, superb for exploring the vineyards on foot or by bike. This period also often sees fewer crowds than the peak summer months, allowing for a more relaxed experience at local wineries and restaurants.

September and October offer a different kind of beauty, as the leaves on the vines begin to change colour, creating a stunning landscape of reds, oranges, and golds. This is also harvest season, so you might get to see the winemaking process in full swing.
