-take a day trip to San Francisco. It’s only an hour and a half away.
-Drive up to Lake Tahoe, which is about two hours away
-anywhere in the foothills like in Auburn or placerville would be great for hiking in the foothills
-in folsom California. There’s great shopping at the Palladio as well as the Folsom outlets. About 20 minutes away.
