Hilton as expected

No newspapers. USA weekend all gone early and no local paper available Fri Sat Sun. I was told to walk several blocks down the street to Starbucks.

Great stay!

Pros: Convenient location, Hotel Staff, spacious and clean room, comfortable beds, soft pillows
Cons: Increase number of breakfast lounge staff on holidays/weekends; microwaves in the room
Location: Arden Hills Mall, many, many restaurants
Had a great stay. Hotel staff were friendly beginning with Purita at Front Desk and Gigi, the Housekeeper. Breakfast was good too. Unfortunately, not all staff at the Breakfast Lounge were friendly. There was a line, no eye contact and not checking on how we are doing or what we need. This was last Saturday, this past Memorial weekend.

It's a nice comfortable hotel. I was very disappointed with the food we ordered. The calamari was not seasoned at all and was soggy. I found a hair in my hash brown, and not appetizing to look at. Not to sound so mean, but the dog food I make for my dog tasted way better.

Pros: We especially enjoy seeing the restaurant host/waiter Edward who has provided us with exceptional meal service each year at the breakfast buffet.
Cons: More clear information about an escrow charge to my credit card for incidentals. It was ultimately refunded/cancelled but I was not informed of it.
We have stayed here 3 consecutive years. The rooms are very nice and the staff is exceptional.

Only Stop for the Food

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Better customer service would make up for the old hotel site.
All aspects except for the food were disappointing. The reservations department were rude and unhelpful. The manager that checked me in made no attempt to rectify the problem with the reservations department. The rooms were old and tired looking. The price was extremely expensive for this hotel ranking.

The sheets were so itchy. I hope there were not bugs. I have never had s bed so itchy. There was an event going on and we had doors slamming and kids yelling all night. Toilet dirty. We won't stay there again Tried to call room service. No answer had to call front desk to have them go find someone to call us back.

Perfect and close to shopping mall

Very pleased with our stay. Nice hotel and very comfortable, we had a single king bed room was spacious and had nice flat screen tv. Has a nice bar and restaurant. It is close to Arden mall that has many shops and places to eat! Reservations recommended!

Average hotel stay

The rooms were very comfortable, however it was a very busy hotel and one of the elevators was down. It made for a long wait during peak times. I don't understand the parking fees and entry in and out. Parking in this type of out of the way hotel is normally free, it's not a downtown hotel.

We have stayed several times at the Doubletree and we preferred this hotel. It is updated or new. Breakfast is available earlier on weekends (important to us). We missed the cookies, but not the sprawling layout of the Doubletree.
