  • The converted granary is based 3 miles from the market town of Ruthin and is ideal for touring North Wales and Chester. It has parking for 2 cars. Ideal for a couple or a small family. Storage heaters and bed linen are inclusive. Garden furniture available in the summer months. Sorry no pets. Towels and tea towels are included. Ample Parking. Strictly no smoking. Wireless broadband connection is available . New connection in dec2016.The lounge is located upstairs which allow you to enjoy the fabulous views of the Clwydian range mountains. Ideal for walking and the outdoor life or a relaxing stay. The accommodation is in an excellent position for visiting snowdonia, Llangollen and Chester. As owners we live on site, any problems we will do our upmost to help, but we do allow you to enjoy your own privacy. With beautiful walks directly from the doorstep, it’s an excellent base for couples who love the outdoors. After a day exploring the surrounding countryside, unwind together and enjoy the calm of this peaceful setting. A welcoming local pub is just 1 mile away, perfect for a relaxed meal or drink.
    No pets are allowed, making the property especially suitable for guests with allergies.

We loved our stay at Y Granar! Everything was so lovely. The location is great for relaxing after a busy day sightseeing and walking. Everything was super clean, the shower was great, the towels super soft and the bed very comfy. We really loved the views from the lounge and the patio, it was lovely to sit out and eat our fish and chips. We highly recommend.

The Granary was just perfect for us. My daughter and I were visiting a friend in the area and needed a bse for the 3 of us. This was ideal! Gorgeous place with wonderful view. Spotlessly clean, fab facilities and very cosy. Owners very helpful and welcoming. Thank you so much.

A lovely Welsh haven

I had wanted a place to explore North Wales and to relax and the Granery was perfect. The living room located upstairs that has large windows that reveal stunning view of farmland and Welsh hills. The bedroom and bathroom are located conveniently on the ground floor- no need to carry suitcase upstairs! Nerys was very easy to communicate with and provided very clear instructions on how to find it and how to check in so that despite its location off the main road it was easy to find. I had a relaxing stay and wish I could have stayed longer!

The cottage is ideal for visiting Ruthin Wrexham and Mold area. The cottage is very comfortable with the bedroom and bathroom downstairs and lounge/kitchen upstairs where you have a view to the fields in front. The kitchen has good amenities with fridge washing machine microwave and fridge. There was milk in the fridge waiting for us, washing up liquid, condiments. The owners live on site and are very friendly. I would certainly visit again.

A very nice property in a beautiful part of north Wales with plenty to do and see. We had some wonderful trips down memory lane. The view from the first floor window is fabulous. The accommodation was well furnished and well equipped. The owner was very welcoming and there if we needed her. All in all a great holiday.
