"My family and I loved our stay here. The pool was great, they just need to fix the jacuzzi. Barely any jets working so we were sitting in hot water. Despite that it was still a great pool area. The breakfast and dinner was fantastic. Just enough to have you full and ready to either start the day or settle in for the evening. They still have a restaurant and bar open after the happy hour dinner/drinks but they need to do a better job with the food at the restaurant. The food taste like they put everything in the oven. I ordered wings and tater tots. The wings tasted like the frozen hot wings you buy in a bag at the grocery store. And they were expensive! The tots weren’t crispy at all and tasted very frozen as well. I would skip the restaurant at the hotel and grab either the free dinner or head off site. Overall, it was still a great stay. "

One of the highlights was definitely the bed—it was so comfortable! The mattress was just the right mix of soft and supportive, and the linens were high-quality and plush. After a day of exploring or relaxing by the fire, sinking into that bed felt like pure heaven. I slept better than I have in ages.The whole space is perfect for a peaceful retreat. Every detail, from the cozy lighting to the inviting furniture, was clearly chosen with care. Whether you're cuddled up with a book or enjoying your morning coffee by the window, it just feels like home.If you’re looking for a quiet, comfy, and downright adorable place to unwind, this cabin is a true gem. "This house is nestled in one of the coves of Lake Norman and was perfect for our family getaway. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, etc. however, you will need to bring or buy any seasonings, cooking oil, etc. if you want to cook while you’re there. We rented a boat and they delivered it to the dock in the backyard, which was fantastic. The house has a ton of space and is very comfortable. Quick drive to Birkdale Village. The week went by way too fast."
