"My son and I had a great time staying here. Staff was nice and helpful. The tents are a good size, clean, and beds are comfortable with heated blankets. Nice big clean pool. It was nice to have our own fire pit to roast S’mores. Some other reviews I read were saying the bathrooms were bad but I really didn’t think so. This property is beautiful and we will definitely be back again. "

"Such a great place to escape to and wonderful hosts. The home is beautiful. Elizabeth and Mark put a lot of effort into making it a great experience- from recommendations for restaurants and walking trails, to providing a coffee bar, beverages, and snacks- no detail is overlooked. "Brief stay beautiful home away from home! Redwoods all around with a glorious deck. We enjoyed meals out on the deck dappled sunlight amidst the tall trees. Kitchen is definitely well stocked. All amenities any visor needs to make meal fancy or simple. Comfortable beds and very modern bathrooms. Easy instructions for location and check-in as well as check out.Would definitely come and stay again!Loved everything! Winston Beth and Craig H."

"Great accommodations and convenient location to Santa Rosa, Sebastopol, etc. Impeccably clean and completely remodeled. Nice outdoor area with grill, fire pit, ping pong table and seating for end of day chilling. All kitchen amenities including coffee for am wake-up. Water pressure in shower was amazing. Road up to house is a bit gnarly the first time up before you get your bearings. All check in information available a day in advance. Would definitely be back for another stay."

"Lovely spot on the river. Quiet and peaceful. Very clean. The kitchen could use a knife sharpener and maybe an extra baking sheet. The dishwasher didn't work but the bbq was great! Overall, a great place on the river. We'll be back! "
"The Stavrand is an exceptional property; right away it is noticeable how the staff cares about their patrons. They go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location is an easy drive to any winery and walkable to downtown Guerneville for food and drink; be sure to hit up the local bank turned into an ice cream shop! "

"Although it was raining during our stay, looking out the windows at the mossy trees was magical. The temp of the cabin when we checked in was a freezing 50 degrees! It would have been nice for it to be somewhat warmer. Having said that, the place warmed up super fast and stayed warm. We cooked almost all our meals at the cabin so we would have liked a few more pans. The place was very clean with an abundance of clean towels, pillows and blankets. The deck is lovely and would be great to spend time on during warm summer evenings. Overall we loved our stay and I would recommend this place for a short getaway. Great location with respect to wineries, Amstrong Woods, Jenner, Bodega Bay, etc"
