"GM Herb was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The location was nice with a view of the river. The only problem was that the room size was very small with the queen bed taking up most the floor space of the room. The included breakfast was modest but adequate. The hotel is very old but clean and well maintained."

"We had a great time. We enjoyed kayaking -just steps away from the deck. We went to the Monte Rio Redwoods for a little hiking in the afternoon and then came back to make dinner in the very well stocked kitchen and sit outside on the deck to watch the beautiful sunset. It was wonderful ! Afterwards, we watched a little tv before heading off to bed. The host already had several premium tv channels for us to jump back into our fav programs. Very Nice!!! We will def come back again. It’s a great place to relax & unwind!!"

"Location and layout was GREAT! Many of the serving dishes, etc. were chipped and the poor house needs a decent set of knives! Would have also liked a fresher, bed situation with newer linens and comforter. You just can’t get away with grandma’s pillow pillows and throws anymore. Property owners need to step it up."
