Tucked directly behind Headwaters Outfitters, in Rosman, NC, this charming retreat offers the ideal escape for fishing enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. Upon arrival to Caddisfly Court, unit 34 is the second of 3 cabins and has dedicated parking for 1 vehicle.

    Step inside and discover a simple one room cabin with modern finishes and everything you need for a comfortable adventure. A queen-sized bed accommodates 1 or 2 guests. A mini fridge, single induction burner for cooking, basic pots and pans, lightweight dishes, and Keurig allow for light meal preparation inside the cabin. A smart TV is provided for guests to utilize their own streaming accounts, but with the river outside you probably won't want to turn it on! The covered porch overlooking the river is an ideal spot to sip morning coffee, enjoy the sights and sounds of the river, or soak in the private hot tub at the end of the day.

    For fishing enthusiasts, the French Broad River is just steps away. You can even book guided fishing trips with Headwaters Outfitters! We loved our stay at the cabin. Everything was clean and comfortable. The space was perfect for a weekend getaway. We especially enjoyed the deck and hot tub. Great location, it was easy to get to trails and restaurants. Highly recommend

Weekend Stay

We enjoyed our stay at Caddisfly Court! Peaceful, easily accessible, and clean. The hot tub was nice and we loved the screen door so we could hear the river but not have any bugs fly in. We will definitely be back!

Love the cabin! It’s a perfect anglers paradise. Somewhere to rest your head. Along with been right next to headwaters their amazing staff informed us of lots of amazing spots even made sure to look at the water levels before going out. Now back to the cabin, it had a beautiful view of the river, WiFi is great for those needing to work. The shower is amazing even has a heat lamp on the ceiling. The only problem was the shower mat outside stayed went the whole time but if you bring towels it will be fine. This is a dream cabin nonetheles. Thank you for a great stay

The property was beautiful, the room was very clean. Only issue for us was that instead of a serene cabin by the river, we got road noise all day and night for the main road on the other side of the river. That was disappointing. I think they did a great job building these cabins and they look great, they just didn’t follow up in the details. The chairs on the porch are plastic and low and when you sit in them you are looking at a railing instead of the river you paid to see. A nice bistro set with a table for having coffee or a snack would be much better perhaps. If soft foam beds are your thing, these are great. Personally I don’t like laying in a hole and wish there was some extra thought there. If.2 people are staying, more hooks in the bathroom for towels or washcloth would be great and at 6’ I had to look up into the tiny mirror in the bathroom. My spouse had little chance at 5’2” to see very much at all. The property and area are beautiful and on the weekend if you sit outside, you can hear the music from the outfitters across the river which was nice. If you are fishing I think this place would be fine but if you’re after that serene nature quiet place, this one won’t do it.

Perfect little getaway

This little cabin was the perfect little one bedroom getaway for the weekend . Close enough to everything but far enough away to feel secluded . Definitely would stay again !

Great weekend get away!

This cabin had one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The cabins are on the smaller side, which surprised me a bit since I was staying before a conference and had clothes and a suitcase to manage. Now that I know, I will just pack lighter next time. Waking up to the view is spectacular, and sleeping with the doors open while listening to the river is pretty hard to beat. There is a Keurig in the room. A couple of starter pods would be a nice touch since I do not use one at home and arrived unprepared. That said, there is a great little coffee truck about a minute away and they do not mind if you show up in your jammies and robe at 7 a.m. I will definitely stay here again. The hot tub on the deck while enjoying the view is a really nice bonus.
