Staff was amazing but definitely over service with people constantly asking if everything is good Resort was very nice but not what I would expect for the price. It's just not my kinda place. Restaurant prices were ridiculous for the food quality.

Rosewood Mandarina is undeniably a stunning property. The setting is breathtaking, with lush grounds, beautiful beaches, and thoughtfully designed rooms that feel both luxurious and serene. The accommodations were a highlight—spacious, well-appointed, and seamlessly integrated into the natural surroundings. That said, the overall experience was mixed. While the service was good, it lacked consistency and didn’t always meet the level one would expect at this price point. The dining was also just okay—pleasant, but not particularly memorable compared to other properties of this caliber. We enjoyed certain activities, particularly the polo experience, which was a standout. However, other offerings such as the hiking and meditation experiences felt underwhelming and not especially well executed. Our stay took an unexpected turn when we were unable to leave due to a cartel safety situation, requiring us to extend our stay by five additional days. While the team did their best under difficult circumstances and graciously comped one night, we felt there could have been more proactive guidance—particularly from the concierge—around support options such as travel insurance or alternative arrangements, given the significant added expense. Dear Rosewood Mandarina Team, From the moment my daughter, son, and I arrived at the airport, we were greeted by our driver with warmth and thoughtful touches that set the tone for an extraordinary stay. The resort Mandarina Rosewood felt like stepping into a paradise so perfect we had to pinch ourselves to believe it was real. Upon arrival Juan Carlos and the staff enveloped us in a welcome that felt like coming home. Every detail, from the gracious hospitality to the genuine care of every golf cart driver, made us feel cherished. Our butlers, Danny and Lilly, provided exceptional service. Each staff member’s heartfelt kindness created a sense of belonging that was effortless and sincere. At La Cocina, Allora, the servers went above and beyond, delighting our palates with every dish. The Treetop Bar at One & Only had stunning sunset views paired perfectly with the bartenders charm. Our horseback riding adventure was straight out of a storybook, thanks to our guide, Manuel and his beautiful horses for stealing the show. Not only did he keep us safe and grinning ear to ear, but his warmth and unexpected talents as a photographer and videographer made the beachside views and majestic horses even more magical. Every interaction, every small gesture, felt like a gift crafted just for us.
