"Nice cabin - comfy furniture, lots of kitchen utensils, great AC, big porch.The dock is great. Nice kayaks to cruise around in, unusually clear water for a Texas lake, good kiddie fishing spot- they can see the fish bite.A guy pulled his boat in the cove at dusk about 30 yards away and caught 5 fish in 5 minutes. So good fishing for big kids too.We really enjoyed our stay. Owners are good people."

"Beautiful and peaceful escape on acres with no one else around. A friend and I did a mother daughter trip with our two girls who’ve been friends since infancy and are both heading off to separate colleges. This was a perfect getaway for them and for us! The cottage is charming and was very clean. We loved the sunroom and its view of the pond. The fresh eggs and blackberry jam provided for us in the fridge were a lovely surprise and we enjoyed them so much! The girls enjoyed taking the boat out for a quiet paddle around while we moms sat in the chairs and relaxed. The chickens and turkeys at the front of the property were a fun addition! Downtown Pittsburg is cute and charming, and we really enjoyed Lala Pops (ice cream and coffee). We also stumbled upon Factory Connection where we found so many brand name college clothes for our girls at bargain prices! Lake Bob Sandlin was a 20 minute drive away and we had a fun outing there at Big Al’s. Lovely property and getaway - we highly recommend it!"

"My boys and I stayed here for a week while my daughter was at a summer camp near by. We had a blast. The fishing was great and we swam every night. Goodness, the pizza down the road from the local restaurant was excellent. This is a cute cottage house that will allow you to 'get away' and enjoy the peace of lake living. Lots of fun and we'll be there again."

"We were looking for a pet friendly, waterfront property at Holly Lake, and that's what we got. The views from the back of the house are wonderful, complete with a canopy of trees above. The curved path down to the water and the dock was a little slippery in some areas with soft sand in spors, so if you're coming with either small kids, elderly, or people with mobility issues, you may want to keep that in mind. Overall a beautiful Holly Lake property with outstanding views.. Communication with the host was excellent. We addressed some minor issues, but will still rate this property as 5 stars overall."
