Staff at the front desk didn’t say hi or welcome and asked for ID and credit card right away. Told him I had a reservation, gave my name and hands me the key cards, discount card for breakfast and a map to the room.
Nothing indicates that the back side of the hotel is right on the train tracks and trains were running every 45 minutes to an hour.
The room and view were amazing being on the top floor! Quite an expansive view. Sitting at one of the many benches to view the mountains just what we needed.

Had booked room for 3 adults and got a large apartment with kitchen and living area! Perfectly located with free bus service into town (easily walkable). Reception could not have been more helpful and Chili's restaurant is not bad! Made use of the laundry facilities and ice machine, sadly not the hot tub due to injury. Free private parking. Would highly recommend.

We stayed three nights in the hotel. We our room is with a balcony having the Mountain View. We had our morning coffee at the balcony. The hotel offer free bus tickets for traveling to downtown Banff during stay. Recommend the Sudden Sally restaurant for the breakfast.

"We didn’t have the breakfast so don’t know about that. Located very close to a good grocery store and a couple of restaurants. Hotel is a bit tired and worn looking. Room was fine but AC very noisy and some other noises such as the bathroom fan which cannot be turned off. They really cheapest on ..."
