British Colonial - Nassau

"I had a wonderful stay at British Colonial in Nassau! The location is fantastic right next to the cruise ship port and with walking distance of the beach, restaurants, shopping, and many of the nicest attraction in Nassau. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a classic and elegant building while still having modern, clean, comfortable rooms. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere was relaxing and upscale. The only downside is that after 5:00 pm many things close, so it can get a little boring in the evening."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Margaritaville in Nassau! When we first checked in, they "upgraded" us to a room with a kitchenette in the Suites building. Our view had a glimpse of ocean and lots of palm trees, so I asked if we could move to a different one. Jeanette at the front desk was very accommodating and moved us into the main building on the 9th floor! Our view was spectacular!! We overlooked the pool and ocean and could view the cruise ships coming and going! The pool area is very well maintained and has a lazy river which is so relaxing! The Vacation Cafe has excellent breakfasts and dinners! The staff is so nice and the manager came to check on us several times! The only place that wasn't top notch was the rooftop bar. That service was marginal. You can easily walk to the Straw Market and The Fish Fry, plus the area that the cruise ships dock! The Blue Marlin and the Lukka Kairi are two places I highly recommend! Everything was very nice. Our only complaint is that September is not a great time to go because we were sometimes the only ones in the restaurant! It is definitely the Bahamas' off season!"

"I had the best stay at Goldwynn. It was so good that I wanted to extend my stay. The staff were super helpful. The booked all the excursions, ensured we always had a taxi to get around, made our reservations for the restaurants and helped my now fiancée with the execution of our engagement. It was also slow period so we felt like we had the hotel to ourselves. The pool was out of service which they communicated before booking but we never missed it because the beach was stunning. Im definitely prepared to return to Goldwynn to repeat the experience. Rooms were big, spacious clean and updated. The view was stunning the blings and sheers were operated by remote. There was a mini kitchen in the room which was soo convenient. 11/10 if you ask me. Food was also amazing. From the breakfast to their dinner. This experience was beyond my expectations"
