Beautiful ground floor apartment in a small private and secure development in the Playa Serena area of Roquetas de Mar urbanisation (resort). The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (plus sofa bed in the living area), air con in all bedrooms and living area, TV (European and UK) and WIFI. There is also a spacious terrace with fantastic private plunge pool (4m x 2m x1m). The terrace gets sun all afternoon. There is also a communal pool and gardens with sun loungers and parasols which overlooks the Playa Serena golf course. The development is close to the natural park and bird reserve.
This apartment is in a small recently built development in a quiet family friendly location in Playa Serena, the most desirable part of the Roquetas de Mar resort. The attractive building is in a lovely location overlooking the Playa Serena golf course. In this quiet location you can have your own oasis of calm away from the noise that is typical of hotels and apartment complexes in other parts of the resort/urbanisation.
The resort has a very large and spacious beach stretching approx. 6km from the Playa Serena area (southern end) to the port area (at the northern end) and with promenade/cycle path along the entire length. The beach has ample space for all, even in high season. There are sunbeds available to hire, chiriquitos (beach restaurants), and water sports. The beach also extends to the north towards the neighbouring resort of Aguadulce and to the south alongside the natural park (clothing optional area).
There are numerous restaurants, bars, cafes and shops throughout the resort. All types of cuisine are catered for and there are many excellent Spanish restaurants serving traditional and modern tapas. The port area is excellent for seafood restaurants. The beach, restaurants, bars, shops, etc, are just 15-20 minutes away on foot.
The apartment is modern, bright and spacious with beautiful polished marble floors. It has 2 bedrooms plus a spacious and comfortable double sofa bed in the living area. There is combined air con/heating with individual controls in the bedrooms and lounge area. The spacious master bedroom has a double bed, ample wardrobe storage space and en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has 2 single beds, ample wardrobe storage space and an adjacent bathroom. The kitchen is well appointed with fridge freezer, electric hob, dishwasher, microwave, and washing machine. The apartment has secure WiFi. To the rear of the kitchen is a small private courtyard with a sink and washing machine where clothes can be put out to dry.
The apartment is on the ground floor and so benefits from easy access to the communal pool area. However, it also has a large terrace with private plunge pool, perfect for cooling off or having fun. The private plunge pool is a unique feature compared to other apartments in the area and provides the feeling of a mini villa for the price of an apartment. The pool and terrace receive the sun all afternoon.
The terrace has sun loungers, outdoor dining furniture and a BBQ and a retractable canopy for when shade is required. Relax in the evening as the sun sets behind the distant Sierra Nevada and Sierra de Gador mountains.
The communal pool is set in a well maintained lawned garden area with palm trees. Around the pool there are sun loungers and parasols and also showers and toilets. Unlike many other developments, the pool area is rarely crowded and often you may have it to yourself, even in high season.
The pools are unheated. The communal pool is typically open from May 1 - Sept 30. The private plunge pool is available and included in rental rates between May 1 - Sept 30 but may be made available for limited periods outside of these dates upon request and at additional cost to cover cleaning and maintenance.
For guests with a car, free parking is included in the secure underground car park (accessed via remote control which is provided on request). There is a lift from the car park to all levels. Parking is also available in the street outside the building.
The apartment and complex are safe and secure with videocom access from the street, secure doors, shutters and lockable terrace gate and a safe. There is also free secure underground car parking.
For families with very small children, a cot and high chair can be made available at a small additional cost. Well behaved pets are permitted subject to prior approval with the owner and at an additional small fee.
There are regular flights to Almeria (LEI) from the UK (Manchester, Birmingham, Stansted, Gatwick, Leeds, Luton and Newcastle) with various airlines. Airport transfers by private taxi can be arranged if required.

Appartement agréable ,excentré donc au calme. On peut rejoindre en se promenant à pied l'avenue principale et la plage. Roquetas propose une avenue vivante, Bars et restaurants . La proximité de Grenade et Malaga permet des découvertes inoubliables : Gibralfaro et Alhambra .Nous avons apprécié de pouvoir emmener notre chat . L'hote est tout à fait sympathique et répond trés rapidement.
Supergroot terras met poelbad, volledig uitgeruste keuken met voldoende potten en pannen ... Donald deed al het mogelijke om het ons aangenaam te maken. Bij aankomst een probleem met de tv en de volgende dag hadden we al een gelijkwaaardig vervangtoestel.Doordat het een appartement is, hoor je de buren, dat is normaal. Jammer dat de voordeur zo hard dicht klapt.Internet valt soms weg maar blijkbaar onoplosbaar.Enige minpuntje zijn de vele muggen waar we 's avonds en 's nachts moesten tegen vechten.
El apartamento, en general, está bien.Tiene una buena distribución, los baños grandes y una estupenda plaza de garaje.La piscina comunitaria, muy agradable.La zona, en las fechas que hemos estado, primera de septiembre, tranquila.
En mi opinión, le falta alguna mejora para conseguir un estancia perfecta.
1.El patio con piscina es genial.Pero si guardase un poco mejor tu intimidad, sería perfecto.Tan sencillo como poner
un elemento de ocultación, como cañizo o similar, ya que es zona de paso.
2.Imprescindible eliminar la barbacoa o cambiarla por algo moderno.Cada vez que el vecino hacía una, se nos metía todo el humo en la casa.
3.Si bien dispones de menaje, se echa en falta cosas muy útiles, como una batidora , una paellera para 8-10 raciones, una cacerola grande...
4.En la cocina, es necesario poner en la ventana que da al patio, un visillo o lámina opaca.
5.Deberían plantearse el poner mosquiteras. Los dos últimos días tuvimos mosquitos y fue terrible.

Apartamento con todas las comodidades, tal como se describe, está situado en zona residencial muy tranquila, a unos diez minutos andando del centro y la playa. Hemos ido con nuestra perrita y un bebé y hemos estado genial, para repetir sin duda.
Espacioso,limpio y bueno,la única pega que está alejado a la fueras y hay que coger coche para todo pero bueno como tienes que conocer el sitio y alrededores está bien muy tranquilo.
Roquetas es tranquilo y poco ambiente solo en el puerto los pueblos de alrededores tienen más por lo demás súper bien.
Buaj! nos a encantado la casa, encima q permitan perro a sido genial! Mi peke lo a pasado genial con la piscina mi perra tumbada en la terraza, muy muy agusto ojala pudieramos repetir el año q viene pq se m an hecho muy muy muy cortas

Prima woning alles aanwezig. Een min puntje het geblaf van diverse honden in het complex
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement malgré de petits soucis le premier jour mais Donal a été très réactif et tout a été réglé en moins de 24h
Je ne peux que recommander cette location si vous voulez passer des vacances au calme tout en étant proche d'une urbanisation dynamique

Séjour de 21 jours dans cet appartement très bien équipé.
La résidence dans laquelle se trouve la location est très calme et bien entretenue.
Donal est très disponible et très réactif en cas de problèmes petits ou grands.
We visit i Nice apartment. We had problems to get the Key and had to waite to hours.
The place was a Nice place and the pictures was fair the place looked like Them. The Power went off every Day. The internet did not work, but the Owner was helpfull and sent a technician. Our close Got red from the pool and we asked the Owner to return some of our money, but no answer. On the Day we left they were helpfull and Nice people, bur still I Think the should give us back some of the money. Also on the 5 th. Floor a dog was Barking all the Time. We asked the Owner to complain. The is quit and good for children. We had to walk 15-20 minute to the nearest supermarked. The Area is not crowded and we did not meet much turist which was Nice. The food in the Area is cheap and good.
