The staff were exceptionally helpful and helped us make the most of our stay in Salento. The property was quiet, clean, and beautiful. The hotel can connect you with a taxi service that can get you into town for COP 25,000. The breakfast was large and delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

This place is a gem, beautiful property, great hike, good food, friendly staff.
Only downside is an insane policy that you aren't allowed to use the hot tub. You need to book it 2 hours in advance and it costs approx $15CAD per person. As a result it sits there unused in this amazing location or would be such a massive asset of the ownership didn't ruin it by having it be the only per per use hot tub in Colombia.
Honestly even with this it's probably worth it. If they fixed that issue this would be one of the nicest places I stayed on my whole trip.

Your kindness and support throughout my stay truly meant a lot.
What I loved most about Casa Tien was the peacefulness of nature in the mountains.
I traveled to the other side of the world, and yet the quietness of nature feels universal — the distant sound of the river, birds, insects, and even dogs and animals around made me feel safe and calm.
It’s a special place for anyone who wants to slow down and rest quietly in nature.
