The room was fine, but the lack of communication from the hotel was disappointing. They requested me to send some info before my arrival - which I did, 2 weeks before my trip by email, as requested. They never got back to me. On the day of my trip, they started to send me messages through hotel.com. I sent it all again and was keeping them informed about my flight and delays. Despite they told me there would be someone there until 8pm, I arrived at 7:55 pm and no one was there. I was desperate. I couldn’t enter the room or talk to anyone. You can’t forget that not all travellers have cell phone enabled! So how could I call? I was ready to go and try and find another hotel. My husband, in Canada, managed to call them. I finally got in, however, with no info about how things would be. When I used the room phone to call the reception desk to ask my questions, the person said, kind of annoyed: “they sent you an email with all if that”. Except they did not. The hair dryer was not working. Or the toilet - the water was off and I had to figure it out. It’s such a nice room, but was a very disappointing stay.
