Very inconvenient. No staff to assist and no means to connect with staff if one doesnt have a SIM card. The door codes were changed without informing us and we got stuck late at night. Had to use international roaming to call them as again no means to connect with staff. They have a kitchen but no basic supplies provided. Biggest red flag was poor communication. No clean toilets, poor lighting. Would never book again ever.

Dear Vikramjit,We thank you for reviewing our facility, but we would like to point out that inside the room there is a telephone with instructions for contacting the facility 24/7 in case of emergency. At your disposal you also have all the telephone numbers of the structure available on WhatsApp, and in case of need, the wi-fi user and password.Our structure is a guest house and therefore does not have a kitchen and breakfast service as written on our channels.

Vacations in Rome.
Everything was perfect except for the cleaners in the bathroom and the floor. Everything else was OK and we enjoyed staying there. Thank you very much for your assistance. Francisco was excellent, very polite and very helpful. Thank you very very much..

Interesting stay
Well, the area was great. Like living in an apartment in the city. Just walk over 1 block and you are in the middle of everything. It was the tiniest room ever but we did not spend much time there. Would have liked it more if breakfast had been an option but we made the be st of it!

The air conditioning didn’t work, called for service, waited 24 hours. They came to repair but still noisy and didn’t cool efficiently. Only European electric outlets available, couldn’t charge cell phones

The place very close to the Vatican, is not a hotel, is located inside an apartment complex building and close to the street (could be noisy). They charge 5€ tax per person per day very expensive compare with other hotels. If you going to stay one night is perfect.

There was no real "front office" per say. It was on the second floor of a building with no air conditioning. No one carried our bags. There was no cart for our bags. We, 3 women, had to lug our bags from building to building and up stairs just to get to the office. They made us pay up front before even seeing the room or where it was located. This should have been the biggest red flag! We lugged our bags to 3 buildings then finally got to our room. It was up a flight of stairs, doors hardly worked correctly, and it was no air conditioning in the kitchen. The kitchen was a communal kitchen with 3 other rooms. The shower had thick mold and mildew all over the base. It reeked of mold and mildew. It was not sanitary at all. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

A lot of broken stuff in the room. Air conditioning device is broken reported to staff but never repaired. Broken sink faucet that water barely comes out. Curtains that fall from its hinges. Stay away, NOT RECOMMENDED.

Very pleasant and friendly staff! Great location for walking to tourist sites like the Vatican and Trevi Fountain. No air conditioning. Noisy, busy street with window open but quiet inside hotel building. Room wasn’t cleaned when putting the “please tidy room sign” on door, only bed was made.

Roomwas pretty good. Shower was a bit rusty, but overall nice. Checkin was weird, nobody was there. The hallway had a light that turned off after 1 minute and was completely dark, no motion sensor.

The staff was friendly; however, there is not a front desk, which we knew but I expected someone to be around during the check in time. Instead you have to call and get someone to help you. At first they tried to tell me an address to go to but eventually they just said wait and someone came to us. Then we walked a couple of blocks away and our room was in a different location. The room was fine with clean sheets and looked like the description. The shower was in desperate need of cleaning as the grout lines were full of mold from top to bottom. Also the shower head sprayed water out of the sides as it has gone bad. We read in the description that luggage storage is available, this was true but not at star Vatican. They let us store in a separate hotel on the opposite side of the Vatican, about a half an hour away fyi.

The door did not work so there was an I incident where we we locked out and then locked in whilst it was being resolved and we missed dinner. The bathroom smells but the room was comfortable to sleep in and good location - walking distance to the Vatican and good food places.

The room was fine, but the lack of communication from the hotel was disappointing. They requested me to send some info before my arrival - which I did, 2 weeks before my trip by email, as requested. They never got back to me. On the day of my trip, they started to send me messages through hotel.com. I sent it all again and was keeping them informed about my flight and delays. Despite they told me there would be someone there until 8pm, I arrived at 7:55 pm and no one was there. I was desperate. I couldn’t enter the room or talk to anyone. You can’t forget that not all travellers have cell phone enabled! So how could I call? I was ready to go and try and find another hotel. My husband, in Canada, managed to call them. I finally got in, however, with no info about how things would be. When I used the room phone to call the reception desk to ask my questions, the person said, kind of annoyed: “they sent you an email with all if that”. Except they did not. The hair dryer was not working. Or the toilet - the water was off and I had to figure it out. It’s such a nice room, but was a very disappointing stay.

No place to leave the luggage, partial elevator only. The location is incredible and I appreciate the fact I was allowed to check in a bit earlier by mere coincidence, since there is no staff or a place to leave luggage while you wait for check in. It was a cold and rainy day and not being able to even get inside the property to wait would have been a disaster, since there is none in the office. I was ready to cancel and get a new hotel. They gave me room #5 next to the elevator. IMPOSSIBLE to sleep and be at peace. They have an old elevator that makes noise when people close the doors and it's constantly in use. Doesn't help you put the privacy note at the door. They still come in to do the service and 8am and wake you up. While the location is awesome, the rooms are big and it feels safe, I have mixed feelings about it. They also didn't let me check in late so I had to wait long hours for my flight at the airport. Hope it helps.

I'm very disappointed and actually mad why I choose to stay at this property, this was terrible idea and next time I'm going to stay only in hotel with someone actually available and not this bad booking but leave and learn. It was raining when I arrive and nobody was there, you have to call phone and that is if someone answers phone to guide you how to get in the box and get key card, first you can't see numbers on box to open and person who answered phone was laughing for some reason on phone, after I got key card open door and nothing is like on photos, room is smaller it was so cold and no heating in rooms, bathroom is small, shower is small and have some mold in corners, smell terrible, street is noisy and full with cars, this was terrible place to stay and terrible idea ,don't believe photos and actually some review mentioned same problem I have, nobody understand and know English very strange.

Stay was good, walking distance to Vatican City. But was hard to get hold of the receptionists at times. There is no physical person to serve you. No breakfast option. Bathroom needs a bit of improvement.

JUST TO SHOWER AND SLEEP
This hotel is more like a Bed and Breakfast. A few days before arrival, we got a message asking for our flight information because if you arrive after a certain hour they charge you EXTRA. The beds are very comfortable but the pictures make the room look wayyyyyyy nicer than what it is. Also, there are limited plugs for your cellphone and other electronics needed. The bathroom was outdated and the television would not change channels or would the volume go down. It was a mess. The employee we saw in the beginning was really friendly but don't expect anything from them. There's no guest services that you could call if you need help. This room is ultimately only good if you only shower and sleep... nothing else.

Great location, especially for the price. Only negative is the free parking that is available, is in high demand. After looking for 30 minutes I finally went to a garage that cost $22 per day.

I actually didn’t stay here. After being buzzed into a building where there were men sitting on the inside steps , we were taken to a reception area that was no bigger than a closet. Only a computer there and a man to check us in. I asked to see the room first and as he took us around the block I asked if this was a safe neighborhood as it was two women who would be staying there. He said it was but he unlocked another gate to a small courtyard and then unlocked a door to a small kitchen area and then unlocked another door to the room we would get. I said I didn’t feel comfortable and wouldn’t be staying there. I said I’d pay for one night because I cancelled late but he insisted that I owed for the whole 3 nights. Lesson learned.
