This hotel is in the perfect location for us. It was right in the middle of most of the “touristy” activities we wanted to do. About 15-20 minutes walk from all main points: Vatican, Trevi fountain, the Piazzas, shopping, etc. you’re less than a 10 minute walk from good food. People say to avoid the food near the tourist spots, but honestly we found it to usually be better than what we found further away. Our room in the hotel was very comfortable with AC, good water pressure, and a comfortable bed. It felt very safe. There were 3-4 steps to access the rooms-not a problem for us, just good to know. The only two downsides were the street outside the hotel was too noisy to sleep with the window open, but with it shut you didn’t hear much, and the water was difficult to get to the right temperature in the shower. Those two things were so small though, especially with everything else being wonderful! We would stay here again if coming back to Rome.

First class service from Andrea. Check in was self explanatory. Room was a good size and clean. Walking distance to all the tourist sites. Able to leave our luggage at the property after check out as we had a late flight back to the UK.

Check in was made very easy by Alessio despite us arriving after hours. Hotel was clean and in a great location. Noisy at night but we expected that based on other reviews and for the location it is worth it. Great wine bars and restaurants nearby.

Walking distance to The Sphere.

Check in was really easy and room was very clean. Location is very convenient, easy to get around with public transport nearby and Vatican only a short walk away. Overall, no complaints and we really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend, thank you!

The location is spectacular. The room was spacious and comfortable. The decor was unique and safety was a priority, given the design elements. I would totally stay here again when in Rome.

The Lady on our way out was so rude. She knocked the door hard and when we open the door she was so rude pointing her watch and said don’t you see the time!!! And it was 10:38 am wich hotel has check out at 10:30 am at least you can give 10 minutes or kindly you can remind we’re already on our way out and she knew it!!! Non appropriate sheets for beds either.

Hi, nothing more false, it is true that they knocked (normally and not loudly) at 10.38, but you went out at 11.40. You were still sleeping at 10.30. The sheets are double for double beds and are white cotton, what type of sheets should we have?

Great location. Very easy to walk to most attractions just wear good walking shoes. Communication was really good. The area felt safe lots of great restaurants within 10 minutes. Self check in was easy and convenient. The room was lovely the only negative was the shower which was either really hot or cold but otherwise it was a great stay.

Great place to stay.
Fantastic location for seeing all of Rome. Getting the shower to not be freezing cold or burning hot was a chore but I would for sure stay here again if I wanted to see the sites

Hidden gem
My wife and I had the best experience staying at this wonderful unique apartment. Although there wasnt any staff on arrival we got into our room no problem. The owner can be contacted via Whatsapp and always responded quickly when we asked anything. We found out first room was a bit noisy with constant traffic noise. But we then got another room which was perfect. It was clean and so central to most of the attractions. The Vatican and Castle St. Angelo were a five minute walk away. Perfect, and most of the sights were all in walking distance. Such an amazing place to stay. Would definitely stay there again. Wonderful.

Very closed to the Vatican city and a river. Clean room with wooden floor and bathroom. There are many historical places around the hotel to reach on foot. If I visit Rome again, I’ll stay there again.

The room was falling apart (towel rack fell off the wall and shower door handle was broken). There was no staff to check me out at 8:30am. Calling this hotel is a misnomer. The desk is not manned except for a few hours during the day. It would be more consistent with service of borrowing someone’s apartment for the weekend. They do provide some clean linens and make up the room each day. WiFi was decent and plenty of outlets in the room.

Our host Andrea was very accommodating during our stay. We left our small luggage in the hotel after check out, and went back for it late in the evening. Very near St. Peter’s Square and Trastevere.

The room was fine, but I rather ask the website to show a real photo of the room external view to avoid surprises. It was a bit noise as it was on the floor level and very close to the traffic street.

A fantastic place to stay and prime location for anyone looking to visit Rome for it's many attractions. 10/10 couldn't fault anything the room was very clean and tastefully decorated and the owner was extremely helpful I would stay here again in a heart beat!

WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE
I absolutely loved this hotel. It was 5 minutes away from the Vatican , and very close to all other attractions in Rome as well. The hotel staff was amazing, they were accommodating and very prompt in their responses. Everything was incredibly clean. It was super comfortable and homely, if I ever come to Rome again, I will stay here.

The location itself is just perfect. You can walk almost everywhere in 20-30 min or less. Very nice neighborhood. The room itself was very nice, clean and comfortable. Extremely nice staff. There was a little damp in the bathroom and not exactly hot water but nothing what would spoil our stay.

Great stay all around. Very easy to access by bus. Great location. Alessia and staff were perfect. Very helpful. Room is nice and clean. Lots of outlets to plug in, shower is nice and hot, and the WiFi is fast. No complaints again. I plan on staying here next time.

A bit too noisy for me
The room was fine but it was right next to a large road. I don't mind city noises but the constant sound from traffic right next to our heads was too much. Also, the doors are super thin so we were awoken by the staff in the morning talking loudly. The cleaning staff kept knocking on our door in the morning when we were trying to sleep. The room was clean though and the location is very convenient, just too many dissapointments to give a better rating.

Nice apartment in Rome
My son and I stayed here for 4 nights on a sight seeing trip to Rome. Great location, close to The Vatican and the city centre. Room was comfortable, with a new bathroom and cleaned daily. The only issue was that, although a non-smoking apartment, a smoker had stayed before us. The smell hit us when we opened the door, but we left the window open and after a day out sight seeing, it was OK. Would stay at Secret Rhome again.

Good location. Room is a bit dark and next to a busy road. Decorated nicely and brilliant bathroom. Staff nice, had to wait 10mins to be let in but that wasn't an issue. Bed extremely comfortable. Room clean.
