The residence was wonderful! The staff was so friendly, accommodating and helpful. It was my husband's 40th birthday trip and we ended it here. What an amazing place to end our stay in Italy. I would highly recommend this accommodation!

It had a beautiful view if you choose to stay on the side facing the river. The staff were very friendly and helpful, however the rooms were really just ok. Basic amenities. The shower had a tendency to flood the bathroom and our double bed was two single mattresses pushed together without a fitted sheet so we spent our trip sleeping like a couple in a 50s sitcom. Wonderful location, paper thin walls. Overall very middle of spectrum. It really depends where your priorities are.

Not long back from a lovely stay in Rome. The owner of this property made our stay even more pleasant. He upgraded our room for my sons birthday to a terrace room with a beautiful view. Checked everything was ok throughout our stay. Was so friendly and welcoming. The building itself is a beautiful old building, with an old fashioned lift to the top. Our room was very small but had everything we needed. Shower was good and it was all clean. Thank you for making a stay a welcoming one.

Room was nice and roomy. Newer fixtures and clean. The elevator broke down during our visit... I did not like taking the multiple flights of stairs to the fifth floor!

Great location. Shower was outside of bathroom not much privacy. Breakfast included was okay. Croissant and juice/coffee. Very clean staff was helpful. Towel heater did not work.

Ideal Location in Rome
This hotel is quite different from other hotels I’ve stayed in. It’s on the fifth (top) floor of a residential building in an excellent location half way between the Vatican and the Colosseum making ALL the important locations in walking distance from the hotel. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating with luggage etc. The hotel itself was newly decorated, clean and warm (December). There is a fully functioning yet quirky lift. This hotel was a great find. Top marks.

Very professional with excellent staff (Cali and Moses). Clean and cozy. Nice location between the Vatican and the main part of Rome. One block from the Tiber river and the Plazza Cavour. Breakfast in the morning is down the street at "Il Lunch" with coffee juice and pastries. Great for a short visit. The good things, City Buses are less than a block away, Airport bus 5 min walk away, The room has a fridge, WiFi and a safe in the room. There are several nearby supermarkets. Only thing is be careful when you shower water gets all over the floor. Would be nice to have a large mirror in the room and wall hooks or coat rack.

The owner was extremely helpful and welcoming. When our transport was late picking us up to return to the airport, he went out of his way to phone the company and the driver to sort it out.

i love the fact the building was traditional, you really get the feel for Rome and that everything was really close by. Great help from the reception which provided us with everything we asked for. Very friendly staff as well. thoroughly enjoyed the stayed we had there. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

The room was fit for purpose, as long as you use it for sleeping and showers this hotel will suit you, ac room, shower, WC, fridge, tea and coffee, the bed all just good no problems, the bad points, we stayed 3 nights, there was no change of towels just one set to last showers for 3 days, what you must also remember is you are on the 5th floor, there is a lift, but you can only fit 2 people in it, the room was nice and quiet. Would I go back to Rome NO If I did would I use this hotel YES

Location is amazing as far as everything being close. Security is great due to having 3 separate locking doors. Felt safe the whole time. Shower was difficult to use without getting water everywhere due to glass not being sealed at the floor.

Location was amazing central to everything and the reception team when availble were excellent for information about the sites to visit and their map made life so easy. The Room was small but pleasant with a real modern feel. Only negative was no breakfast options in the hotel.

It was pretty good but the shower water was cold most nights. Although there were rolling blackouts throughout the city. They had amazing customer service.

Big scam
Firs if all this place is nit what they claim. There’s no parking no minibar the AC doesn’t work I call the person whi sent me the key to complain he never responded I had to go spend the night in anither hotel near by. There were other clients complaining as well. Check out time nobody show up so we left the keys with the person claiming the recepcionist. Went all over italy this hotel spoiled everything. They don’t deserve to be in hotel.com.

Great location
Great location for walking to Vatican, Spanish steps, Trevi fountain. Guys on reception are really professional and helpful. Our room was decent size but few issues - shower doors broke so when used everywhere got wet. Plus air con wasn’t working as room booking overnight. Room could be improved with additional hanging hooks and mirror. But fantastic location and lovely staff

The room has certain elements that make it comfortable: fridge, soap. The room is clean. Nevertheless, I had issues with WiFi and did not receive a response. The corridor smelled with a strong chemical product.

Good location
Location is ideal as between the Vatican and main city of Rome so near most attractions. The residence is very clean and comfortable and staff are very helpful. Initially was a bit disappointed as we were advised breakfast was included in the price, however this was not the case, we had to go to the cafe round the corner to buy our breakfast each day. The cafe was however very nice, but we hadn’t not budgeted for this extra cost. Only complaint about one of our rooms was the odd smell in it, smelt like the drains needed to be cleaned out and could be extremely unpleasant. Thankfully only in the room to sleep as we were out all day.

I was very impressed with Residenza Cavallini. It was exceptionally clean!!! Very safe location. The continental breakfast was an added bonus. The staff were very accommodating! So close to everything. I would definitely recommend this BnB. I will go back.

Outstanding bargain on a hotel. Perfect location to get to the Vatican or the Spanish Steps & shopping. Terrific restaurants literally around the block.

Great located hotel in Rome
The hotel was in a fantastic location, it was spotlessly clean with pretty much everything we needed. The bathroom appeared recently renovated and was great and the bed was comfy. Staff were helpful and the hotel contacted us before our stay to ensure our arrival went smoothly as there wasn’t 24 hour reception cover. A couple of negatives, there was coffee and tea making facilities in the room but no milk and they weren’t replenished at all during our stay. A personal negative is there was no mirror in the bedroom and no plug in the bathroom so it made straightening my hair very difficult.

Absolutely loved our stay here! We were booked in for 3 nights and the place was perfect .!Very central to everything and only 5 mins walk into the city centre! Great food choices around aswell. The hotel itself was spotless and newly refurbished. The room was very very nice and super comfortable! Will recommend highly and would stay here again if ever in Rome again!

Great Place!
Amazing place to stay within walking distance of so many places. Clean, modern, very helpful staff, and quiet. Everything was great except for the last morning of our stay was without hot water. Not sure why there wasn't any but had to leave without a hot shower.
