The apartment is located in a strategic area for those who want to visit Rome on foot, in fact at 300mt. there is the colonnade of the Basilica of St. Peter, not far from the Vatican Museums, near Castel S. Angelo, Piazza Navona and the entire historic center. The apartment has just been renovated and is composed of: Living room with double sofa bed, extendable table with 4 chairs plus 2 folding, 40 ″ TV; Triple room with double bed and 1 single bed plus wardrobe and dresser; Double bedroom with wardrobe and convertible into a bedroom with 2 single beds; Bathroom with large shower; Kitchen consisting of stove, microwave oven, refrigerator with freezer, breakfast table and everything needed for cooking; Balcony overlooking the courtyard and equipped with small table and chairs to relax in peace and from where you can see the dome of St. Peter. There is also a washing machine, an iron and a mini ironing board. The apartment has central heating, air conditioning in all rooms, free wifi. We are at the foot of the Janiculum and not far from the well-known pediatric hospital Bambino Gesù, in a very quiet area equipped with every comfort: supermarket open 24h. on 24h, pizzerias, bars, restaurants, bakeries, laundries and theater. The area is very well served by public transport both with bus lines and with the metropolitan train that from the S. Pietro station (2 minutes walk from the apartment) allows you to reach the Trastevere station (interchange from and to the station). Fiumicino airport) or other stations such as Valle Aurelia (interchange with the metro line A). A 15-minute walk away is the park of Villa Pamphili, one of Rome's "lungs" for walking around the Villa dei Doria Pamphili or for jogging. The shopping streets are also a 15-minute walk away: via Ottaviano, via Cola di Rienzo and a little further away, crossing the Tiber, you reach via del Corso, via Frattina, via Borgognona, Via Condotti, the streets of the great maison of the fashion. Using the bus in 10 minutes you reach the area of Roman nightlife: on one side Campo de 'Fiori and the other Trastevere. Paola and Umberto are the best hosts and their flat is all you would want, when visiting Rome. It is a 5 min walk from St. Peter but at the same time absolutely quiet and it felt very safe. There is a supermarket only a few steps away, which is very convenient. We felt at home!! Paola met us at the beginning and showed us everything! She organized the transport from the airport and back. She and Umberto and their son where always very quick to respond and could easily be reached at all times. We felt really cared for! The beds are comfortable and the small kitchen has everything you need to make a meal (including condiments). The apartment is within a large residential complex, with a balcony looking into the courtyard below. It is walking distance from the Vatican. There is a supermarket 2 doors down and a bakery/deli across the road. The bus stop and taxi stand are a short walking distance away. There is a a bit of a bathroom smell problem coming from the drain holes in the bathroom (which is common in these large complexes) but we just covered them with a towel and closed the bathroom door and it wasn’t as noticeable. Estancias cómodas y amplias para 4-5 personas. Bien equipado. La atención de la propietaria muy correcta y amable.Solamente indicar que a partir de la cuarta persona la propiedad añade un suplemento de 45 que no veo indicado en la aplicación de Vrbo, dice que el precio indicado es para 3 personas. Las camas cómodas y habitaciones espaciosas. La comunicación con el huesped impecable. Volveríamos sin dudarlo. ##### paola m. Die Lage der Wohnung in Nähe des Vatikan ist hervorragend und auch mit dem Bus gut zu erreichen. Wir konnten alle die uns gesetzten Ziele gut erreichen. Die Wohnung selbst ist gut ausgestattet, wir hatten auch die guteingerichtete Küche benutzt. Nachts, absolute Ruhe, man kann es kaum glauben. Restaurants und Bars sind kurzfristig zu erreichen.
