  • Lovely for 2, comfortable for 4 (on demand), in a quiet street in the heart of Trastevere for an authentic experience. Cozy and characteristic apartment is bright and elegant and has been furnished with distinctive refinements. Modern design, functional, stone fireplace and beam ceiling maintained to create a charming and warm atmosphere. Authorized by City of Rome Tourism Office. Walking distances: Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere San Pietro Campo de Fiori Piazza Navona.

    It is located on the second floor of an ancient building. It comprises a large living room with a brand new, very comfortable and standard sofa bed for 2 person easy to open with one hand to be equipped on demand (size of the mattress Width 160 cm / 63 inch.- Lenght 195 cm / 76inch. - Height 18 cm / 7.4 inch.), A fully-equipped kitchenette and a double bedroom with a very comfortable and brand new bed, en-suite bathroom. Air conditioning in the bedroom and in the living room. Free WI-FI broadband available 24 H up to 20 mbps. The apartment offers a wonderful location on a very quiet street of Trastevere and easy access to the local amenities.

    In less than 1 minute you find yourself in the middle of all that magic .. !!

    Vicolo del Leopardo retains some characteristic aspects and has the atmosphere of a small village. ..Some historical trasteverin family still resists. It is one of the few streets of Rome, if not the only, where someone still hangs washing side to side. The cloths are still hung between a building and another and it is one of the most photographed street in Trastevere.

    Very few cars circulate. The road is filled with large vessels with lush plants, arranged by the inhabitants. You can also reach most of the main touristic sites walking.

Great start to our Honeymoon.

This was a great place. The owner arranged a driver for us from airport that was very helpful. We walked the remainder of our time and it was easy to get to main attractions. There are many wonderful places to eat within a minute or two from property. I HIGHLY recommend this for your stay in Rome.

We started our two week Italian adventure in Trastevere and it didn’t disappoint! The apartment was everything we expected. The check in process was easy and the host was very responsive to any inquiries. The apartment was clean, cosy and close to everything. Most amazingly, when I left my prescription sunglasses in the apartment, Andrea found them and had them delivered to the hotel in Rome where I ended my trip 10 days later. To say he was an amazing is an understatement. Highly recommend Lovely Trastevere if you are looking for an authentic experience in Rome!

Great location

This was a good unit and location great. However there was quite a bit of mould in the shower which just needed some bleach to clean. The steps are to be considered especially if you are in the later part of life.

We enjoyed the authentic look and feel of the apartment and the location on a tiny street with a real neighborhood feel. The communication with host was excellent. We were met at the apartment and oriented to it and the area. So glad we didn’t stay in the downtown city center which was very crowded.

Beautiful Trastevere

Our apartment in the beautiful Trastevere section of Rome was as lovely as the description. Our Hostess Lucia was more than accommodating. She made our stay fun and easy and the quiet , peaceful street was such a welcome after being a tourist in Rome. Great location. I will Look forward to my next stay in Lovely Trastevere. Vincent

Great home base in Rome

We enjoyed our stay and loved the neighborhood. You will be putting in some steps to see the main sites. We walked 9+ miles each day. Coming home to Lovely Trastevere at the end of the day was welcoming. The district is lively with lots of dinner options minutes away, but the street is a quiet oasis. Both Andrea and Lucia were helpful and kind hosts. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations and arrangement of airport transport the morning we left. Wonderful place to stay in Rome! Recommend and would stay again.

The neighborhood is wonderful and the apartment is very conveniently located to great restaurants! everything within walking distance- pantheon 15 min walk colosseum 25 min walk we did do a lot of walking but we don't mind:) The apartment is very clean- could use an updated coffee maker, but otherwise great stay!

The apartment was located in a busy and vibrant area of Trastevere but on a quiet tiny street with no traffic noise. The heating was efficient and the apartment was warm, important as this was January. Check in was quick and easy and the owner and assistant were pleasant to deal with. The photos online need to be updated and the issue of mould needs to be addressed, especially in the shower.

Convenient and comfortable enough

This apartment is well situated and was just right for us to help our daughter pack up from her semester in Rome. Clean and comfortable enough in a quiet building. Lucia was a delight and made check in very easy, and our driver from the airport was friendly, prompt, and professional. A bit of a lag in communication with host a week prior to departure had me nervous about our reservation, but all was more than well in the end. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes, markets, shopping, and tons to do and see. Thanks for a brief, but great stay! Beth and family

Quiet retreat from tourist crowds

Perfect location on a very quiet attractive block on the edge of Trastevere. Within easy walking distance (1/2 hr) of all the major tourist sites on the other side of the river as well as the Vatican. It was a pleasure to come back to the apartment across the Sisto bridge every evening and enjoy the street music in the Piaza Trilussa and street life of Trastevere. The living room overlooks the street and is quite spacious and very bright. The bedroom window opens on to a small interior light well and so has limited daylight. The apartment was very clean and well stocked. The living room could benefit from a new couch and a coffee table and there is no longer a rug shown in some of the photos, but these were minor issues.
