Our penthouse is well furnished (washing machine, dishwasher, air conditioning, wifi, terrace and a small elevator) organized as a family home with bookcases and accessories that make the house very welcoming. It has a green and quiet terrace, ideal for breakfast, lunch or dinner, where you can enjoy the wonderful warm Roman seasons. A double bedroom with a bed with a mosquito net and ceiling fans, a second bedroom with a single bed in the loft and a single sofa bed to be opened if necessary, a bathroom with terracotta majolica, a living room with a large wrought iron chandelier with candles and an antique mirror, a kitchen with English windows. The large windows make the house bright. The furniture is antique with an ethnic flavor.
The rental price does not include tourist taxes which amount to 6 euros per night per person. How to reach Fiumicino airport: There is a train that goes from Fiumicino airport to Rome Trastevere. On the site you should try all the timetables The train passes every 20 minutes and takes about 26 minutes for 6 stops. Trastevere is the seventh stop cost €8.00. Then once outside the station take the Tram which is on the main road from the station, it is on the lane of the center, and must be taken in the direction of the left towards Casaletto the tram number is 8 and costs €1.50. the fourth stop is Piazza S. Giovanni di Dio and you will see Via Ferdinando Palasciano in front of you having the local market behind. The tram passes every 5 minutes. maximum time 10 minutes. You can of course also take a taxi outside the gate or on request we can provide you with the contact of a ask us for a private driver Street market tours, a buzzing restaurant district, or a night silent terrace perfect for relaxing. lf you explore the neighborhood you can find the biggest park of Rome

If you are looking for an amazing apartment to relax, feel like home, yet convenient to tram and city center of Rome, this is it!! Cinzia was wonderful to work with planning the visit, and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Roma!

The apartment is spacious and about 20 minutes by tramway to the Vittorio Emmanuel area. It was clean and has everything needed for a short stay. There were several small trattorias nearby as well as cafes. The apartment is beautiful but need a bit of refreshing. Use public transportation because walking to the historical area takes 1 hr plus.

We loved the flower penthouse. We enjoyed the patioo, the nearby market, and the neighborhood. Cinzia (Cindy) was absolutely lovely and easily available for questions. A great find. We will visit again.

A little far out but 1 minute walk to tram so no problem. Good neighborhood, secure. Spotless. Lots of space. Large bright kitchen. The patio is a real gem. Only downside is the shower badly needs upgraded. Cinzia is easily reached and very helpful. Would stay here again

Loved staying out of the city centre. The apartment was eclectic and perfect. Interesting neighbourhood. So glad we stayed here. AC fantastic and there is a lift. Cinzia was extremely responsive and made our trip so much easier. h Highly recommend. A quick trip on the #8 bus and you are downtown. Thank you so much!

Absolutly charming, comfortable , and beautiful accomidations in the middle of a fasionable neighborhood close to everything that might be of interest but far enough away from the toutest trade to feel like an authentic Italian neigborhood. We all recomemd it highly. Cinzio most responsive to our every need.

Heaven. For all of us. Very comfortable. We both ate out and cooked in. We used the outdoor garden deck to both eat in and lounge and ocasionally get away from one another. It was trully a wonderful place. Recomend higly. We’ll be back.

We had an amazing time. The 'flower' penthouse apartment above the rooftops of Rome is indeed a green oasis and a place of tranquility in the midst of a bustling and vibrant city. Cinzia is a most generous host - she had offered to pick us up from the Rome airport. But since we arrived with our own rental car she gave us her parking spot. I have stayed here previously and enjoyed the garden terrace and location close to public transit. The apartment was spotless and lovely as it was previously. We had some hiccups this time with check-in but the owner tried hard to ameliorate the issues. She also responded quickly when issues arose. The primary reason I always give this four stars is the four flights of stairs to reach it, which the owner is very clear about in her description of the property. I would definitely stay here again.

My family ended our Italian vacation with a weekend in Rome. This place was very nice and away from the crowds in a quiet neighborhood. There was a few nice spots to eat in the neighborhood, including a place that the host, Cinzia, helped reserve for us. We had a rental car, which was a little stressful to try to find parking. We probably would have opted to get a reservation at a garage if we did it again. The terrace at the place is very lovely, although we did not get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked because it was quite buggy out there even with mosquito spray. It was all worth it though, as the place was very unique and our host was very lovely and went out of her way to make sure we had a good stay. She was very responsive to our questions as well.

Nice appartment. Well designed with a really "Italian touch". Since, we were in Roma during the end of december and the wheather was cold, it was not possible to plently appreciated the terrace, which should be very nice during the spring and summer ! The location is not in the touristic center of Roma but easily accessible by Tram 8. INdeed, this location permits to approach the true Roma life in a popular district. A beautiful cozy apartment in a quite and safe neighborhood . Property entrance was lovely and had the convenience of an elevator to carry luggage to the 4th floor. I had read previously the door was a little difficult to open which is accurate but after a couple of attempts I got the hang of it. Upon entry into the apartment we were delighted to find it was more beautiful than the pictures portray! You can tell the furniture pieces were selected with love and the curtains add the perfect morning and evening glow. Kitchen contained everything needed for cooking and all the windows brought the outside indoors. We only used the master bedroom which was comfortable and spacious. Enjoyed the sitting area and wardrobe to lay out all our belongings. The desk was convenient to take care of some business and journaling. An adapter was also provided for use. A previous post stated the bathroom needed to be updated but it was perfectly suitable for all needs and the tub was enjoyable for a cool bubble bath after a long day of sightseeing. Cinzia was easy to contact and responded to all questions. She was extremely gracious in giving us extra time for a late check out. She was kind and checked in to make sure everything was going well. Property is conveniently located to the bus line, grocery store, restaurants, gelato, and market. A short ride to Trastevere neighborhood. No regrets about this property.

Don’t come to Rome in August they said, it will be horrible they said. Well the joke is on them because we had the most fabulous time when apparently it was the worst week to come! LOL. We loved our apartment and Cinzia was a most gracious host with excellent communication before and during our stay. She provided car service to and from the airport (which at first I was going to use the train, but when we arrived the heat was unbearable and coordinating buying tickets and then getting the right train would’ve been miserable.). The apartment is in a beautiful building right off the bus and tram routes. Getting around the city was such a breeze! Cinzia showed us the apartment and how everything worked and graciously departed. She checked in with us periodically throughout our stay and gave suggestions where needed. The apartment was comfortable, airy, beautiful...I could go on and on with so many more adjectives. You will not be disappointed staying here! At first I worried that we would be a little too far from the action and spend too much time in transit, but we always had the option to take a taxi and arriving more quickly. I enjoyed not being in throngs of tourists and having our own quiet oasis. Everything you could want is provided in the apartment and the bed was very comfortable. We did not turn on the TV a single time and enjoyed sitting out on the terrace enjoying coffee and wine. We had a great experience with public transportation; we used it all from the tram to the buses to the subway and we never had a problem with any pickpockets or feelings of not being safe. I cannot thank Cinzia enough for such a wonderful time and beautiful surroundings. The apartment was a welcome respite at the end of our long days. Thank you Cinzia, we hope to be back!

My friends and I really wanted to love this apartment. The space is beautiful and beautifully decorated. But, there were too many aspects of the stay that came as a surprise for us to full enjoy it. The host sent a message the day before we were supposed to check in jam packed with information. This was very overwhelming since my group was already traveling. On top of that, we felt that most if not all of the information in the message should've been advertised in the listing. For example, there is only AC in the living room, kitchen, and room with the king sized bed. There is no AC unit in the room with the twin sized beds, nor a door for that matter. Also, when we asked the host about using the pull out bed in the living room, she said that was "only for emergencies" and reinstated that the stay is only for 4. We answered, yes the stay is for 4, but we booked it because we all wanted a bed to ourselves. I still don't understand why she would advertise a bed to be used then discourage us from using it. There's also certain appliances that can't be used simultaneously due to electricity caps. This made it hard to fully enjoy all of the listed accommodations, because if we wanted to use the oven, we couldn't use the AC, and we stayed in Rome during a very hot week. There is also a tourist tax, which isn't uncommon, but I just don't understand why it wasn't addressed in the listing. Overall, my friends and I would not have booked this stay if we'd known all of this beforehand.

Nous sommes restés 2 semaines dans ce très bel appartement très bien situé, loin de la cohue mais près de tout. C'est très tranquille mais à deux minutes du tram qui nous amène directement dans le centre historique, Piazza Venezia. La terrasse est charmante et le salon et la salle à manger sont très bien aménagés. Nous y avons passé de belles soirées lorsque le temps était plus frais (séjour fin avril). La chambre et le lit sont très confortables. Notre hôte est très disponible et d'une aide précieuse, autant pour nous informer sur le voisinage que pour nous assurer des services du chauffeur pour le trajet aller-retour vers l'aéroport. Man muss die vorangegangenen Bewertungen nicht unbedingt wiederholen, denn sie passen voll und ganz. Herauszuheben sind wirklich der fantastische Charme der Wohnung, der tägliche Markt in Laufweite, den man unbedingt regelmäßig aufsuchen sollte und die tolle Terrasse, bei der man abends zur Ruhe kommend sogar Zikaden lauschen kann. Die Lage war für uns so entscheidend, weil wir wirklich nicht im touristischen Zentrum wohnen wollten, sondern eher unter Einheimischen. Berichtigen muss man, dass es inzwischen wirklich einen Aufzug gibt und man die über 80 Stufen nicht mehr laufen muss. Dieser ist allerdings sehr klein, dass bei einer Traglast von 180kg nur max. 2 Personen fahren können, die keine körperliche Nähe untereinander scheuen sollten. Danke an Cinzia, die bei Fragen immer erreichbar war und auch aus der Entfernung uns helfend zur Seite stand.

Great apartment, beautiful terrace, and easy access to the center via the 8Bus. The market at Piazza San Giovanni di Dio is open most mornings & has everything you could need. We had small difficulty using the keys and some of the outlets, but Cinzia was available via WhatsApp to assist. Note that the second bedroom has a kid's loft bed & a single cot below - a little bit of a strange set up with no bedside light or outlet, but all together a great stay and would absolutely return.

Schön gelegenes Apartment, etwas außerhalb vom Zentrum. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten im Zentrum lassen sich jedoch problemlos mit der Straßenbahnlinie acht erreichen. Diese fährt direkt bis zum Forum Romanum. Die Fahrtzeit beträgt etwa 25 Minuten. Direkt gegenüber ist ein schöner kleiner Markt an dem man alles beschaffen kann was man beschaffen möchte. Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in Supermärkten gibt es in direkter Umgebung. Das Apartment selbst ist für zwei Personen ideal. Die Küche ist vollständig eingerichtet so dass man, wenn man möchte, auch etwas kochen könnte. Wir haben das nicht getan. Das absolute Highlight ist die Dachterrasse. Diese Late nach einem anstrengenden Tag in Rom zu einem entspannten sitzen am Abend bei einem guten Gläschen Wein vermutlich ein. Wir werden, wenn wir wieder nach Rom kommen dieses Apartment auf alle Fälle nochmals besuchen.
