The biggest downside was it was on the third floor. I was ok with it for the most part, but my mom was definitely not ok with it. The person who greeted us at our apartment was kind enough to carry my mom's luggage up for her which I appreciated or I would have had to make two trips. The ac is just a portable ac and you have to empty the water bucket or it will overflow. I found that if you leave it on "max" overnight if you sleep in It will already start overflowing. So don't leave it on max or set an early alarm. Also because it's a portable ac it doesn't really reach the bedroom well so it gets hot in there. I was looking forward to using the wahing machine because I packed light and planned to wash my clothes while I stayed but the washing machine was actually broke so that was a bummer. I'll also note they tack on a cleaners fee which I thought was annoying. No other apartment I stayed at in Italy did that, they only charged the city tax. Other than that it was a good place.
