Ideally located for an enthusiast of historical sites and archaeology, the apartment is in the middle of a wonderful and peaceful PRIVATE GARDEN and within WALKING DISTANCE to some of the city’s major attractions such as CIRCUS MAXIMUS ( 5 Minutes) which was the ancient Roman grounds for horse racing, the COLOSSEUM ( 10 minutes) which was the largest amphitheatre in the world during its time and a must for any visitor to the Eternal City and without excluding the Baths of Caracalla, one of the greatest examples of thermal baths of ancient Rome. Via di Porta San Sebastiano, a scenic street which is close to the apartment runs alongside the St. Sebastian park.This park was used for burials in the Middle Ages and later became rich farmland for orchards and vineyards to be cultivated. Die Ausstattung in der Küche ist absolut Basis. Handtücher für Bad sind genug. Die Wohnung ist in Ordnung funktional aber leider auch sehr muffig. Ebenso roch das Bett sehr streng und keineswegs frisch... Leider ist die Strasse die an der Anlage vorbeiführt sehr laut, sodass es schwierig ist bei offenen Fenster zu schlafen und auch sonst, wenn man sich draußen aufhält (Gartenmöbel sehr dreckig mußten wir erst reinigen) nicht gerade gemütlich ist. Das Problem für uns war, dass wir uns bewußt für ein Objekt etwas am Rand der Altstadt Roms entschieden haben, damit wir es etwas ruhiger haben nach der trubulenten Stadt. Leider war das nicht der Fall und dafür sitzt man dann sehr laut wirklich weg vom Schuß. Einkaufen etc zu Fuß ist mindestens 15 min. Das Colloseum ist auch nicht 10 min entfernt sondern eher 25 min zu laufen. Somit das Fazit, dann lieber im Zentrum - wahrscheinlich ruhiger - und alles fussläufig erreichbar - als die vermeintlich grüne Oase abseits. Die Übergabe verlief etwas chaotisch, obwohl wir uns rechtzeitig angemeldet hatten. Der Fernseher funktionierte auch nicht - war für uns aber nicht so wichtig - ich hatte zwar mal nachgefragt wollte aber meine Zeit damit nicht verschwenden. Preis Leistung ist für dieses Angebot zu hoch, wenn ich es mit anderen und schöneren Objekten vergleiche die wir bisher gebucht haben. Für das gleiche Geld kann man in Trastevere ein altes Kloster das zum 4 Sterne Hotel umgebaut ist mit Frühstück buchen und ist mitten in Rom mit Garten und Dachterasse inkl Parkplatz. Da wir aber immer eine andere Ecke Roms kennenlernen wollen, hatten wir uns für dieses Objekt entschieden, es letztendlich aber doch sehr bereut. ##### katharina L.
