The apartment, exactly as pictured, is big and clean and within walking distance to The Vatican and many other conveniences (shopping, eateries, metro). The patio was a wonderful spot too. We spent lots of time on it after long days exploring. The bedrooms were big, and the beds were very comfortable. It also has air conditioning - such a bonus! The rental company was also easy to deal with, and Marta welcomed us and made us feel right at home. The roof terrace is a wonderful bonus, and the layout worked well for our family of four (two young children). It’s a very short walk from St Peter’s and even closer to the local metro stop. Our only complaint was that the kitchen could haven been better equipped (couldn’t find good knives for cooking). Worth mentioning that the lift doesn’t go quite to the top of the building where this flat is, but that wasn’t a problem for us. Would definitely stay there again. ##### Rachel B. This apartment was clean and a nice place to stay for just two nights, however, I wish I could’ve found something closer the Trevi fountain area because that is where all the attractions are and great restaurants I found. The apartment is right by Vatican City though if that is what your priority is. The apartment is definitely a lot more dingy than the photos suggest. The location was wonderful and so close to the Ottaviano metro stop that we could easily get to anywhere in the city. The patio was marvelous, and we enjoyed coffee out there in the morning and wine at night. We found several; fabulous ristorantes nearby, and shopped at both the massive mercato just down the street, and the grocery store just a couple blocks away. The kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom was of a decent size, and the elevator -- while small -- served our purposes very well. Emanuele checked us in, and he was very thorough in explaining things to us, and showing us all the major attractions in the city. One note: be wary of scammers at Termini, and pickpockets on the trains. They tried to rob both of us, but because we were wary they didn't get anything. Just blocks from Vatican City. We could hear the trumpets and bells going off in the distance in the late mornings. Kitchen has all the necessities, including a few stove top Expresso makers. Bathroom is updated has a window that opens up with little garden attached. Great for getting fresh air after a shower. Selection of DVD’s were great as all tv channels were italian. Wasn’t a big deal for us. Great little Bistro 20 steps from apartment building entrance and a lot of little markets and restaurants dot the streets all around. I would highly recommend. Ruhige Wohnung, kaum Geräusche aus anderen Wohnungen. Wir fühlten uns sofort sehr wohl, da von 3 Räumen aus die wunderbare Terrasse erreichbar war. Wir hatten zum Teil sehr warmes Wetter, dadurch standen meistens alle Terrassentüren offen. Auf der Terrasse ist es sehr ruhig. In der Küche gibts einen kleinen Geschirrspüler und einen grossen Kühlschrank. Der Herd ist gasbetrieben. Alles essentielle ist vorhanden. Neueres Bad. Die Wohnung ist bis auf die letzte Etage per Minilift erreichbar. Die letzten 2 Treppen muss man zu Fuss überwinden. ÖV schnell erreichbar, auch zum Flughafen je nach Verkehr mit dem Taxi nur etwa 1/2 Stunde. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten nah. Viele Restaurants zu Fuss erreichbar. ##### Monika H. We, three adults, had a fantastic week in the apartment. Everything was like in the advertisment. Within 5 minutes you reach the underground and lots of buses and in a 10 minutes walk we were at St.Peter. We once used that fact to be there very early to avoid the queuing, that was brilliant. The apartment itself gives you the feeling of a private room, with lovely pictures, books and good furniture to feel at home and comfortble. In the citchen you found everything, they had salt, pepper, oliveoil and even coffee for us to use, in the bathroom soap and shampoo. Yes, we loved the terrasse, too, to sit in the sun having tea or even breakfast (in February!!) It really is a very nice, quiet appartement to stay in, we hope to come back. ##### Peter F. But the Metro is a five minute walk away, so you can be in central Rome in 10 minutes. The apartment is clean, spacious, and filled with art and books. The kitchen could use a few more amenities, like dishes, but we mostly ate out. The patio is good for sitting on while reading or having a glass of wine.
