Comfortable, silent, WI-FI, accessories. 100 sqm apartment in an excellent location, in a residential neighborhood, but close to all the tourist and landscape attractions of Rome. It is only 800 meters away. from St. Peter's Basilica and from the SAN PIETRO train station, from the taxi station. The apartment is located on the second floor of a 70's curtain mixed building in the street of Via Gregorio VII. The apartment can be reached by a private road that shelters the apartment from street noise. It has a large living room (approx. 40 m2) with 2 sofas (including a double sofa bed) and table for 6 people, smart plasma TV. Double bedroom with TV and wardrobe. A single room which can also be transformed into a double room. Two bathrooms (one with tub one with shower). Kitchen equipped with fridge, microwave oven, dishwasher and table for two. Wifi connection. The house is also equipped with a wardrobe, two habitable balconies, a washing machine and an ironing board. Possibility of car parking on public road, of guarded public car parking for a fee and of unattended public parking for a fee. Characteristic of this accommodation is the possibility of an exclusive stay in a context really close to St. Peter's Basilica, but in an oasis of tranquility, within a lively neighborhood not far from the historic center. The neighborhood is equipped with all services and, a few meters from the house, you can find the pharmacy, the supermarket, the market, the bank, the laundry, the bar, a place with live music a few days a week, restaurants ( meat fish pizza) and fast food, the hairdresser, the barber, the Central Taxi, all reachable on foot in 2 minutes. So we already felt good about the apartment before we went there and the apartment didn’t disappoint. It was lovely, exactly as advertised in a good central location. The only minor nitpick we had were that the bath towels were a little small And the shower stall is also a little tight. We booked this place since it was close to our sons apartment and we were dropping him off for college. This is a great location in a nice neighborhood with all the necessities at your fingertips. This place truly felt like home, from the warm welcome from our hosts, to all the thoughtful little touches throughout this clean, bright, well-appointed, spacious apartment! The neighbourhood was quiet, 15 minutes walking distance to the Vatican. We enjoyed lunch on the patio, and dinner at Ristorante Pizzeria Jasmine just down the street. The hosts are just wonderful and are waiting for you on your arrival. The apartment is in a great location with very good food options close by and easy to get around town. Metro is just a min walk down the street. Grocery store about 5-6 min walk. I traveled with my wife, young son and brother and we had more than enough space with the apartment. It's a gem that I highly recommend. Next time in Rome, i'll be staying here again for sure. ##### Moses M. Very clean. The balcony was small. The neighborhood was safe and the bus was right outside our apartment. Be prepared to walk up an incline and two flights of stairs to the front door. There was an elevator to our second floor apartment. The owners were super nice and very helpful. I would rent this apartment again if I go back to Rome. H. 10 Oct 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### A beautiful place The apartment is very spacious, very well equipped, and very conveniently located with a bus stop only 50 yards from the entrance and a large, very well stocked supermarket only a five-minute walk away. Various restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. The apartment is beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated with two balconies. To our delight we found the fridge well stocked with a lot of water, a large bottle of beer and a bottle of prosecco - very thoughtful and kind on the part of the proprietors who gave us a warm welcome on our arrival, explained everything about the apartment in great detail and were very helpful on our departure when they helped us with the luggage and called a taxi for us to get to the airport. The owners have really thought of everything: there is an ample supply of toilet paper, enough soap and shampoo in the two bathrooms and even an additional supply of water in the kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment and had a delightful time in Rome. ##### Hans J. H. Not only is it impeccably clean and spacious, but the hosts go out of their way to be sure we understood bus routes, tickets, and they checked up to be sure all was ok during our stay (they didn’t come to apartment but contacted us thru the VRBO app). They made us feel at home and welcome in the glorious city of Rome. There is a queen size bed in the master bedroom, and 2 twin beds (one in a separate bedroom and the other off the main living room. There is also a double pull out bed. There are 2 bathrooms (one shower and one with bath/sit shower). The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner. They also left us food/drink gifts which was welcome after long flight. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone who wants to be close to the Vatican. It was a bit of a longer walk to the other main sites- but there are main bus stops right outside the door. The neighborhood is quiet with a couple great restaurants and cafes. We arrived on Christmas morning. Since stores were likely to be closed, Giovanna had bought and stashed groceries for us, made us a couple of lasagnas for our family and stocked some nice freebies like prosecco, beer, bottled water, etc. as a welcome gift. Even though she was busy cooking for her own family, Massimiliano (and their son Niccolo) was there to welcome us at the apartment and give us a nice tour and orientation. Plenty of reading material, games, DVDs, etc. at the apartment. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials, pots & pans, dishes, toaster, Nespresso machine and basic spices and cooking oil. The bedrooms & bathrooms were similarly stocked with towels, toiletries, bath robes and most everything you would need to be comfortable. Giovanna even asked us how our kids would like their beds made and had that ready to go. I've used VRBO extensively over the years (including recently even in Italy - Florence and Venice) and while my interactions with all the hosts have been very pleasant, I can honestly say Giovanna and Massimiliano are some of the warmest, most welcoming & hospitable hosts you're likely to encounter. Every interaction and communication reflected genuine hospitality and warmth and really made us feel so welcome in their home and to the Eternal City. Grazie mille! ##### Rahul S.
