Even though it is showing it's age, to us it was part of the charm of the place. we loved our three night stay there and wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we were in Colombo. "Firstly the staff was fantastic, helpful friendly and polite. Food was exceptional both for breakfast, evening meal and afternoon tea. Watch the curries they are proper spicy compared to England. Roof top pool and bar great at sunset. Several different restaurants and all very good quality. The rooms are fantastic spacious and comfortable. They have thought of everything. If you are in Colombo it is worth a stay."
