Wow wow wow, what an amazing place to stay. We started our journey at the Den for our trip around Sri Lanka and the location, facilities and in particular Felix the hotel manager gave us the warmest most beautiful welcome we have ever received. Clean bathroom with great shower pressure and temp. Not much storage space. Nice solid desk and chair; furniture. WiFi kept dropping--almost four times a day. However, I've stayed here before; and, it wasn't and issue before. No food allowed in rooms! Roof top restaurant. Rice-heavy menu with a few international options and separate cafe menu. Covered seating area is available. Hotel felt like home. Some of the best staff I've ever met! Warm and courteous. Well worth the price. They really went out of their way to be helpful. The room was nice, big, bright, clean bathroom with good toiletries. Area was quiet and convenient, close to parks and cafes.
