Disappointing
Unclean room which was swapped when reported to a room with a leaking air con unit and smelt of stale smoke. We booked two rooms and the second room had a fab running all night except from 2-5am that couldn’t be silenced. The shower is in the main room so not great when sharing with teenage children

At the time when I booked this hotel I had no idea this was the budget ibis. The room was very small with no closet space or anywhere to put your clothes. There was no privacy at all for showering or getting dressed. Also there was only 1 blow dryer for the whole hotel and no wash cloths. My mom and I made the most of it because we had already booked it for 14 days and there was no way of canceling and getting a refund. Luckily the bed and pillows were very comfortable and clean. That was the most important part. The room was also very quiet and cleaned daily. After a few days of realizing we were not at the Ritz Carlton we really grew to love our little room. I would recommend staying at the other ibis if staying for more than 1 night. We were able to stay at a regular ibis in Colmar for one night and it was very nice and roomy. Plus there was a hair dryer and lots of places to put your clothes and toiletries. I would definitely stay in an ibis again and I highly recommend staying there if you are on a budget and just need a place to sleep.

Not really a good experience....
When we arrived they couldn't find our reservation during 30 min at least, then we got to our rooms that were not cleaned, no toilet papers... We couldn't get another room because the hotel was fully booked... As a nice gesture, we had 1 free drink per person...

On average the staff was very nice, namely the cleaning lady and the staff at the breakfast. Was a bit upset to see the front desk staff at the check-in with the mask below the nose and clients going in the lift without mask unnoticed. Very small room but clean. The "express breakfast" is very nice. All in all a great value for money.

Good for the price/budget hotel
The receptionist was very helpful and friendly and the check in was really quick and easy. She gave us lots of useful information. The room is basic but it is a budget hotel and it is cheap so although not the most comfortable room generally it was clean, has the basics covered and for the proce does the job well.

One of the cleanest Ibis hotels that i have stayed at. Very clean comfortable and quiet which is excellent as there is also good dining options and entertainment just outside the hotel doors

My overall experience was upsetting, there was a lot of miscommunication between the staff, as when I arrived I was told that my reservation was moved a day forward as well which would mean my check-out was also moved a day and this was confirmed to me at the check-in as I specifically asked about it then on the last night I arrived to the room, I couldnt get in as nothing was changed in the system and they wanted to charge me for a night. There was a female member of the staff who has no business being in a costumers servive role as she is rude, trying to argue my rights. My boyfriend was sick, hence the reason we had to come a day after the day booked, yet he had to stay in the reception while we argued with them. I was fuming, at the end the male present gave me a new code, Im going to check my account to see whether they have take the money as my card is registered. Nevertheless, after all this drama the next day I check out and I wasnt allowed to pay for breakfast has they mentioned that breakfast closes at 10am (and ut wss just before), however there was a lot of people sitting down having breakfast and other people who were staying in the hotel were allowed to have breakfast ( we observed this as we sat there and it was past 10.15, and my boyfriend asked the man in reception and he said that they were guests) I felt extremely discriminated in this hotel and Is shall never return to it.

This means that once booked regrettably no changes or cancellations are possible, which is clearly stated on the booking platform. We understand this could have been better explained at the time and will be addressing this matter with our team as well as carrying out extra training. We have also in the meantime, exceptionally cancelled the second payment due to the inconvenience caused by this incident. Breakfast is served from 6 am to 10 am, however, guests are of course allowed to remain in our breakfast area while finishing their meal.
